This was fun to watch man. Great job to the team
Thanks so much for taking the time. Means a lot to hear that from you.
And star war theory is here awesome
Hey theory
Awesomely awesome
Better than Disney 🥁🥁🔔👁🍯👁🤯🤣🤡🥓🥓🥓🥓🏜🏜
"Do you Jedi _train_ in all that gibberish? Or is that just how you find each other?"
That is a genuinely excellent line.
It's more the latter, I'm reckoning. 😉
Well there had to be at least one line that wasn't awful
Loved that line 😂😂😂
Agreed
I literally opened the comment section and read this at the exact moment he said it, haha
That's a real gem among fan films: first class dialogue, good acting, good drama and fun too!
"Tomorrow is promised to neither of us!" is such a poignant line. A beautiful film but I hope there's more.
“Do you Jedi train in all that gibberish or is that how you find each other?”
New favorite quote.
Great job. I especially liked the Mandalorian’s Southern accent combined with his salty attitude. It was a great touch as was his scarred armor. The drunken, disheveled Jedi was also a welcome departure from the usual holier-than-thou Jedi image.
I’d wager that at least one Jedi that was hiding out after the purge turned to the drink.
Always felt the Force needed a slightly Roguish character

@@Cassiel75 I’m working on a series of novels where a kid is being taken to Coruscant to begin Jedi training when order 66 happens. He is raised by a Mandalorian from infancy but realises there’s something “different” about him. His adopted Mandalorian father dies, and when he is sorting out his stuff he discovers the lightsaber that the Jedi taking him to the temple owned. He basically learns how to Jedi, but the Mandalorian code of honour stops him from falling to the dark side. He is absolutely not a good guy though, he just exists as a Grey force user. Hunted by the Sith, feared and mistrusted by the Jedi.
TL;DR Boba Fett/Din Djarin with force powers and a lightsaber

Didn't someone once say, "leave them wanting more"? Well, Anthony this totally ticks that box. Congratulations on your latest work and good job on your acting. You really brought that Jedi to life.
You know, it's funny... I would have respected Mark Hamill's role as Luke more, had it played out like this.
Agreed...when is part 2

MORE!
Oh this is AWWWESOME. The performances are really genuine, and just "You'll be wanting revenge then... _I can work with that."_ was delivered *perfectly.* I'd love to see more of this.
And Felix Solis helping out with the acting is great! I'm hoping the next part is out. I'm hunting for it!!!
This Mando needs to be in the show. Either as a nemesis to Dinn, an ally, or as a frenemy. I think frenemy would be best, tbh. In either case, this story arc should definitely be implemented. Favreau and the other guy need to hire this team.
This is the way,right?
THE OTHER GUY???? YOU MEAN DAVE FILONI THE GOD OF STAR WARS!! sorry
The moment when you realize that a fanmade movie has more depth than the last official episodes...
Yeah... and unlike the new sequel trilogy, I actually wanted to see how this story played out.
I agree, the second season wasn't great.
Eh… it’s ending wasn’t that bad
Thank Disney for that garbage they call "Star Wars". More like star shit imo.
Errrr, the last episode of season 2? Hello? What more do you want? 😊
This is defo my favourite fan short. Great dialogue, sound design and setting.
What really keeps you engaged is the acting! To act in a suit where your facial expressions are not visible is very hard.
The whole cast did a really good job.
A perfect example of good storytelling and only 5% CGI.
YUP!
Great sound piece of work
Did not blink once..

if you would..?
keeping that space western vibe alive, quoting the Outlaw Josey Wales:
_Dying ain't much of a living, boy_ _Dying ain't hard for men like you and me_
Jedi Council offering a bounty on a drunk former member? interesting idea
I recognized that line, too. Great use of it, IMO.
Noticed that too!
He's not the jedi we need, but the one we deserve.
The writing, line delivery and location were SO ORIGINAL TRILOGY. Loved this!!
When did the Mandalorian become the Outlaw Josey Wales? Very appropriate quotes he used. Would love to see this as an offshoot series or mini series! Keep up the great work!
That was fantastic! I about died when you picked up the spachka instead of the kyber. PLEASE make another!
The moment you realize this is two years old and comes with no sequel....😢
God, that Jedi was so funny. Great character. Love the multiple moons.
I haven't been so invested in a Star Wars live action production since the Mandalorian. This singular short had better characters, writing, and direction then the entire sequel trilogy combined!
The shot of the Mando on his swoop at :38 is straight gold. Excellent cinematography throughout.
Congrats on this! So fantastic and inspiring. Great atmosphere.
thx ! Congrats on “Captain Laserhawk"
Jedi on the Ruff

Still got the right stuff

Very nicely done. You got me wanting to see the rest.
This single episode is better than any of the full length films that Disney crapped out.
That Jedi Actor was brilliant he needs to get a part on the real show!
When you stumble across something this real, and you see part of yourself in each of the characters. So well done. Wow. My highest compliments to all of you in your art.
This is so great. The dialogue crackles and the dessert location lends real authenticity. Not mention the costumes are on point. I love Raheal (I’m not sure if I spelled that right.) I was wondering how this guy survived the purge but then it’s made clear he’s wanted (or was) by the Council so he was already an apostate. Yet he feels real as both a jaded cynic and a real mystic in one character. Lastly, I love the Mandalorian’s accent and the Clint Eastwood quote.
It's Luke Jedi Order. You listen? Mando says first order
The way he motions the bottles over like “come’ere right quick I gotta secret to tell ya- SLICE!!!
Hey you, blue juice, lemme show you somethin- SLICE!!” 😂😂😂
This was ". . Impressive, MOST Impressive." Well crafted, well written, and intriguing. I really hope there is more to this, SOON!
If only Disney could have this much creative freedom or at least have this sense of ideas....oh wait never mind its disney.
Awesome !!! The setting, the outfits, the mix between comedy and drama... and man, two characters that ACTUALLY ARE characters... Lucasfilm definitely could learn a thing or two from this in how to engage an audience...
the texas drawl mandalorian was a bit much ...
@@0623kaboom ...but kind of cool nonetheless.
@Searoof Only if it were bad. 😁
@Searoof What non-bad thing have people been hating on?
@Searoof I kind of clocked out of alot of Disney stuff. I've always been more practical effects over CGI kind of guy, and most people who grew up with films from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s probably agree, so I'm sure the people complaining about that are the kiddies who only know Pixar and nothing else.
Enjoyed that way more then expected. Great story line, interesting new characters and well executed and polished. Thanks for that.
This was exceptionally good! Thank you for your time and effort. VERY GOOD ACTING
Better than some new Star Wars movie i know. Had more character progression in that little clip than three whole movies lol.
That was stunningly brilliant. This felt SO much better, so much more vibrant, alive, gritty, raw, than most of the official movies. I want more. Much more.
This was super fun and interesting to watch! I hope we get to find out what happens next!
"The greatest villain's are those who believe themselves to be hero's, but a man who knows himself to be a monster can do the most good"...
There was a lot to love from this film, but the acting takes the cake. That’s a big statement considering how perfect the props/suits are, and how glorious the environment is. Y’all are awesome. I’m taking notes when it comes to the dialogue!
I mention the great job of the actors without read others comment until now. This make my point.
Having watched all the costume and prop build videos leading up to this... it all really paid off in production. Wow!
Deserves to be continued -I want to see what vengance a whisky priest and an outlaw will wreck upon their enemies!
WOW! This was awesome. I so hope you make a continual of this.
You're not only a good filmmaker but a solid actor too. :) Good job to all involved.
Dude I love your prop tutorials but this was even better. The F/X, the props, the video quality and even the acting was better that most of the movies I've seen in the last decade. Please keep doing keep doing this stuff I freaking love it!
Did you just say the fx? Lmao that shit is trash
I finally watched the completion of all the work you did to create this film. From making the speeder to the mandalorian armor. It was worth the wait.
What fun! I LOVED the concept and execution. I also loved being able to see all the stuff that we watched being created on the channel, being used in the film! Great job, y’all!
Was REALLY hoping this ended with "To Be Continued." I still am. They may have no hope, but I sure do! 😁
Well done!
Quite1
Wow, that's the first star wars related thing I've ever actually enjoyed watching.
Great journey Mr. Ferraro, great result.
Fantastic!!! The pacing of the script is spot on for the series, and the low-budget effects are so endearing because everything else is of such high quality.
Although I'm not familiar with a lot of the Star Wars later characters, I did enjoy this short. The VFX were spot on as well as the cinematography, acting, and music. A film definitely to be proud of.
_Well worth the wait! A good story and very well acted! Thanks for taking us on this journey with you!_
Damn, that was great. Way to leave us hanging though. 😂
Congrats to everyone involved. Job well done. 👍
I have to say at loud this was pretty dope there is fan made that don like to watch it for the actors but the actors here were awesome, the drunken master great job and the mando and twilek. The camera shots much better than a lots of fan made. Am looking forward to make my fan made and am gonna follow this fan made protocols lol!
I legit thought this was the actual show. The armor, background, acting & everything is very well done.
Only constructive criticism is the lightsaber effects part. That was rough.
Another wonderful production. I hope we get to see more of this. Kudos to cast and crew!
This was so much fun, seeing it all come together is very inspiring. I enjoyed the hell out of that, thank you.
Good writing. I hope this becomes an on going series.
Congrats to all the team. You guys made an great job. Very good to watch and perfect choice of sound effects. Looking forward to the next chapter
That was phenomenal! Who needs Disney -- or Hollywood, for that matter -- anymore? When fan films look this good, and actually keep the heart and soul of the originals alive and burning, who the hell needs the big studios??
Well done guys!! All those props turned out amazing on the screen!! You all did a great job!
Fantastic job all around! You are so talented, Anthony! This film looked beautiful, and the effects blew me away. Amazing work - I want more!
Now that's how it is really done! A great atmosphere to this production, love the ship, the acting, the effects. Everything came together beautifully. I have just one question, what happens next? I was left wanting more. Well done Anthony, congratulations to everyone involved on this movie. Loved it.
Great work Anthony, you and your cast and crew have done a brilliant job. One of my favourite standout moments was when you were hitting the bottles with the lightsaber, it looked awesome. All in all, I really enjoyed the fan film, I'd really like to see a sequel story to this.
Nice work, Anthony! Great intro to the characters and set up some great plot points to continue this story. Can't wait to see what you do next!
So well done. Great details throughout. Caught the light saber reflection in the Mandalorian helmet on second pass. Loved this.
Super impressed with what you’ve created here! Congratulations on making a great looking engaging story that’s left me wanting more.
Thanks, brother. Also, let me say the quality of your builds always inspires me.
Totally dug the crap out of this. Just discovered your channel a few days ago. It's very inspiring and gives me inspiration for things I'm working on. As far as kit bashing and customization if different stuff for my action figures. Can't wait to explore more of your older videos
"If it's revenge that burnsh our shouls with purpish ... (belch, stagger) ... then it'sh our duty to be reduced to ash by it!"
"Do you Jedi _train_ in all that gibberish? Or is that just how you find each other?"
“Do you Jedi train in all that gibberish or is that just how you find each other?” Love that line so much.
It's finally here!
Mate I absolutely loved that! Brilliant acting, and superb dialogue!
Hey I recognize a few of those props
Nicely done, Anthony! Loved it. Can't wait to see what projects you have coming next!
Thx Brother, and thank you for your help early on
I've watched a few fan films and have to say that this one is my favourite! More of these two plz
One of the best Star Wars fan originals ever!
I sincerely hope this gets a second episode. Well done on this one, man!
I've seen this film many times now. So great. Fan films often have narration or endless exposition. Yours is a cut above because you show rather than tell. You let the audience discover the story rather than reading it to them. I wonder if you could do another? I imagine the next one taking place in the ship. You might do a kickstarter to collect funds.
This was great! Left me wanting MORE! That's a good thing. But seriously MORE please! Lol.
This is one of my all-time favourite fan films! I actually re-watch it periodically. This particular re-watch might be my fourth time. I wish you would do a sequel. You just bring everything to the table, Fun, a good storyline, redemption, Mandalorians, Jedi, the Force... brilliant.
I want the tee shirt..
Outstanding. You guys should be very proud of what you’ve accomplished here.
This was amazing to watch. I love all these fan films. But it does just go to show how much superior good actors are combined with superior writers for those good lines. Comes off as an insanely high-budget college project. I couldn't do 1/100, 000 of what they did, they're clearly very talented...but who can actually compete with something that has $250,000,000 more dollars in their budget?
The speeder-bike emerging from the hold was spot on.
Characters with personalities that reach out and grab the audience. Great job.
Worth the wait! You spent your time during lockdown well, Jedi!
Brilliant! Love the lines from "The Outlaw Josey Wales" among other classics
That's gloves, helmet visor, drunk jedi, acting... I like how serious and fun it is at the same time xd
Very impressed. The line and delivery of “hope” chefs kiss
Great work lads, 👏 the script, the intrigue, and the unexpected way that this fan film ended; I hope (I know that is childish) that, all of you, make another sequel to this history with more action, exotic locations and characters. 🌌 I like the way that this project ended. I would like to see if you can connect the Legends merchandise (comics, books or videogames) with this history, 🤟 and see what you can make it, 🍿 keep the good work.
*- Spoiler Alert: Don't see until you finish the video -*
I was expecting something like, a Jedi with Drunken Fist martial arts skills vs. a Mandalorian with unorthodox weapons, or a very fancy fighting technique. It would be awesome that you bring *Xin Wuku* 🥷 to this project. Cheers bros. 🍻
*P.S.* Sorry for my english friends, is not my mother language. 😅
All in favour for this to be part of the 3rd Season of Mandalorian.. Like this comment.
Laughed hard when even the Jedi Council put a bounty on this guy, what the hell did he do?
What I enjoy most about this fan film is it just captures the real essence of Star Wars, the spirit, the feel. Not in aesthetics, but in nature. This FEELS like Lucas' Star Wars, especially with the way it escalates.
From a Badass Bounty Hunter doing his job
To a standoff with a forlorn Jedi
To the Mandalorian being after something more important than money
To the Jedi regaining the most important thing in all existence- Hope.
All the while sprinkling in engaging dialogue, humor, and some poignant messages. I especially love "Tomorrow is promised to neither of us!"
Very well done. Good dialogue, good CG, excellent costumes and props!
All that said, and I understand that the series is a "space spaghetti western", but I found it so hard getting past the Texan accent...IK it's just me, but still
Dude the Jedi/Mando were absolutely awesome! This is now canon to me. Would be so cool to see some form of drunken fist/swinging lightsaber with the Jedi. So awesome man. It was pleasure watching! Also wanna add you completely sold the given up on all hope Jedi. Your acting was immersive for a Jedi!
That was hands down without a doubt the best Star Wars fan film I've ever seen
This, unlike many, was very well put together and executed. I hope to see more, much more.
AMAZING! So excited to see this. You really put your heart and soul into everything you do!
Yea I dig it. A drunken Jedi paired with a southern talkin Mandalorian seems like a great story
If these guys made a full movie of this quality writing, acting and cg i would definitely pay the overpriced theater pricing to see it at least once.
This was soo good, cant wait for a 2nd installment!
We need to witness the whole tale in series format. So captivating and intriguing start! Well done!
I've followed Star Wars for 44 years and I just need to throw y'all a compliment. This is phenomenal.
This is the best fan film I've seen! The effects are AWESOME
This was terrific! So much better than the sequel trilogy. The acting was great, the script was great. The whole thing was really enjoyable.
