Back in the 1970s I used to visit the one in Fort Bragg just north of Mendocino California, It was the sight of an old dump years before regulations. I used to enjoy finding bits ofold dishes with just a little colored glaze still visible(Like Fiesta), I now live more than 5000 miles away, but when I look on Google Maps it is named.
@@TheBoredPirate Maybe I'm missing something.... there was green everywhere. Why was that desirable? I would think a purple or red one would be great, but not green or transparent.
There is a Great Sea Glass Beach in San Fransisco Bay, Last I heard you are not permitted to remove the Beach glass any longer even though it's said that it was refuse glass dumped there by the city over many years.
Hi! We love St Kitts! Would it be possible to get more specific info on where this was filmed? It doesn’t look like “sea glass beach” it seems larger. Thanks!
Ooo....my eye caught those cobalt blues immediately!!! Can you bring back one for me? I'll pay, of course. Well rounded off if possible. I know they're harder than other colors..........please? Unless you've already left for home. Dang, I'm envious!
Very nice, but in Ireland, there's a 3 mile stretch of beach where it's nothing but actual real man made glass, all dumped from the small city of Derry. It was an amazing sight and walk. Glass as far as the eye can see...some sharp, most of it rounded, smoothed and blunt - of all shades.
Laura it used to be normal for people to collect their old bottles and dump them on the beach to make beach glass beaches and to get rid of glass build up without leaving sharp glass in nature
Unbeliveable how much seaglass it is on this beach. Wish we had something simular, no glass at all on the beaches in my country, not where I live now either.
@@chillingsworth4384If you go to glass beach, you won’t find hardly anything because thousands of people went there for years ahead of you and took away buckets of glass before they made it into a state park and made it illegal to remove.
What the what now…. Sea glass… well I never… how interesting… ok so… I’ve seen it all now hahahaha… now then I’d say walking barefoot on this glassy beach would be an experience like no other…. now would you end up with shredded feets ?? you betcha’ maybe… probably… prapps… hahahah. who knows… I don’t… but wowzers that sea glass be so darn beautiful all the same ! Love that you also pick up trash🤗 If everybody would do that, the ocean and beaches would be so much cleaner!
Thanks! It’s part of the job for sure

Incredible! Great video!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for taking me on this adventure. It is amazing to see the amount of Beach Glass there. Will definitely need to visit St Kitts
You should!
This makes me go crazy all that sea glass! I love the well worn rocks too
Thanks Ky - amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it!

There is a bright blue piece at 0:12 that would have gone home with me.
Good eye
In Canada on the shores of Lake Huron, you can't find as much any more and cobalt blue is the rarest.
Growing up in Florida, blue was always the rarest, too.
Red is the rarest I’ve found tons of blue
Is it in Qc?

There’s a few spots in St Kitts; but depends on time of the year you go
@@TheBoredPirate we will be there in January 🙂
Which beach in St Kitts is this?
I honestly just want a bag full of whatever a shovel can produce for making crafts 😂😂
Same here!
Rouses Point, NY. You're welcome.

I would be on that beach the whole day it’s so amazing
It’s so beautiful 😭
I need to plan a trip to St Kitts
Amazing, must go there
Never in my life seen this before!
Oh wow St Kitts who knew? I need to go visit my cousins 😮

Where is this amazing beach?!
Caribbean in St Kitts
@@TheBoredPirate Wow Thanks!!
If there are festivals here the glass would disappear very quickly
Where is this?!.
Nice one! Where were you at while filming this VoD?
st Kitts:)
@@TheBoredPiratewhere on St Kitts 😊
This would be heaven for me! I love sea glass but it’s so hard to find where I live on the NC coast.
Where does the glass come from
Old bottling factory on top of the cliff
Where does it all come from? Here in the uk it’s usually because of an old bottle works or old tip.
Old landfills
that is insane omg! 😮❤
Wow, loved to be there
Why does so much wind up on that beach ?
It was a dumpsite below an old bottle factory

The most wanted sea glass is...? Never seen that much like this..WOW. ❤😂🎉😮😅😊 5:36
Orange is the most sought after
I found a bunch on Lake Champlain on the NY side. It looks a lot like that.
Rouses Point to be exact.
Cool! Any good finds ?
Name the beach pllease … im new to this

This pirate approves this Channel !!
Arghh thank ya matey!
What is it that you look for? Large and well worn pieces? A certain color?
Rare colors:)
abrupt ending... i was actually really enjoying that i was reclined in my chair and everything
GoPro died
Wow where is this, I’d be there for many many hours ❤

Hello, can sea glass be found on the Gulf Coast of Alabama or Mississippi?
Sometimes, nowhere in particular I know of though
Dauphin Island, Alabama. Odyssey Sea Glass has a website which shows the best seaglass beaches in the U.S., including along the Gulf of Mexico.
Wow I can make alot of jewellery with that 😍
Sure could!!
This video almost makes me feel like a kid again...
Searching through rocks for the best shiny or special rock.
The coke glass with letters is so cool.
I have lots of pieces like that.
Astonishing! I would not walk barefoot there.
Holy holy! ❤️
A jewelry heaven....pick the beach that you can pick sea glass from.
Why so many there?
Old bottling plant used to be above the cliff
That's awesome. A beach made out mostly sea glass. Where is this located?
St kitts
There's two beaches like that in California..one it's against the law to pick and the other you are allowed to pick.
I know where the first one is, but where is the legal one? I'm in SoCal and the pickins' are slim around me
Just wondering, why is it illegal to pick up sea glass?
Sometimes rules are meant to be broken. That’s pretty ridiculous. Don’t pick ur nose! 👮♂️
@@lynnsadler7920It is a state park.. illegal to take anything from a state park.

What do you and your Mom use to wash your sea glass to take the smell away?
Just dish soap and warm water usually if they have an odor
@@TheBoredPirate Thank you 🙏
Mom always said "You can pick your own nose but you cant pick your friends"
Is this actually old glass or beer bottles that have been broken and tumbled smooth ?
Yes and other various types of glass as well
👍👍
Could you recommend a place to say while there or any other places of interest??
I did send you an email.
Thank you in Advance!!
Marriott is the best
This is just a fraction of what Glass Beach in Fort Bragg used to look like.... Sadly now it is all but gone.
The swiping is driving me crazy, it would’ve been nicer to see them up close..
Sorry about that - the waves are current have a lot of control, can’t stay in one place easily

Find a lot on lake Erie shores too.

Wow! Did you go here the last time you were in St Kitts or is this a new spot ? How would you compare this to Bonaire? 🩵💙💜💚🤩Suzi
It’s pretty similar to Bonaire for sure - Went here last time as well, but more glass in the winter
What beach is this in St Kitts?
