    AJ threw 641 punches vs Usyk in their first fight. So its not accurate to say no fight exists where AJ has thrown over 517 punches.
    Even if you take off round 11 and 12 he still threw 506, which is less but you fight differently when you know there are 2 rounds ahead of you and the last 2 round where actually rounds where AJ threw a lot of shots, he threw 135 punches in the last 2 rounds.
    If we take activity vs a live opponent who can move and actually punch back, Usyk is a good one, over 9 rounds Dubois threw 290 punches, AJ threw 443 in the first fight and in the second fight he threw 343. Dubois is active vs people who are stationary and that cant counter.

    Far too simplistic in your analysis Hatman. You fail to consider damage received. Dubois gas tank won’t be the defining factor. AJ will counterpunch Dubois to the canvas

    • @infinite8767
      @infinite8767 26 дней назад +1

      This response is even more simplistic! What damage did AJ receive before gassing out? If anything, he received damage because of his gas tank running out. This is the point Hatman is making, Dubois defence is worse than AJ's, he gets hit way more often than AJ does yet is still able to throw way higher volume of punches without gassing early.

    • @DrWuDoc
      @DrWuDoc 26 дней назад

      @@infinite8767 you ought to listen to the video carefully before commenting. Hatman was contrasting Dubois punch output with AJ’s after 10 rounds. Well it’s not as straightforward as that. AJ had been floored in the 5th against Wlad & had shipped a lot of damage along the way. Contrast this with Dubois vs Miller. First off, Miller’s punch power is significantly inferior to Wlad’s & Dubois had not incurred anywhere near as much damage. It therefore stands to reason that damage received will also contribute in a detrimental way to punch output.
      IMO Dubois engine will not be the defining factor. Now I’ve tried to simplify things for you, hope you have clarity now?!!

    • @infinite8767
      @infinite8767 26 дней назад

      Simplistic response again from a simpleton! AJ was gasping for breath, gassing before he got floored by Wlad. That doesn't happen to Dubois, even when his head is being rocked back way more than AJ's in a fight, he still has a way higher output. Dubois does not gass out after throwing high volume. AJ does. And who's to know if the same shot that Wlad landed on AJ would also floor Dubois? I doubt it, AJ's chin is average. And his stamina is average compared to Dubois..

    • @DrWuDoc
      @DrWuDoc 26 дней назад

      @@infinite8767 if you think damage incurred has no impact on punch output, I’m afraid we’ve gone beyond simpleton level iq with you! We’re dealing with vegetative state - machine assisted breathing etc etc
      I’m not even contending who has the better engine. I even agree that Dubois has the better engine, my position is simply this: Dubois engine will not be the defining factor vs AJ- for the 3rd time!
      AJ shipped more damage vs a far superior opponent compared to Dubois/Miller. Superior in every sense- physically, technically - this is bound to affect output.
      “AJ’s chin is average” - remember Dubois vs pumped up cruiserweight Kevin Lerena???
      Anyway, I’m done here. The levels just isn’t there to continue this dialogue.

      @infinite8767 26 дней назад

      @@DrWuDoc Do you really think Hatman was implying that Dubois' better stamina will be the defining factor? NO, you brought that up. There are many contributing factors in what will constitute a win in this fight. Again, you've missed the point that AJ only started receiving damage after he started gassing, not the other way round, go and watch that Klitschko fight again, Dillian Whyte fight, etc.. Dubois having a better engine doesn't mean he'll win the fight. You're like a child talking as if you comprehended Hatman's video well.

    AJ threw 641 punches in the first usyk fight. Granted that was over 12 and not 10, but if you average Dubois 517 over 10 per round it’s 50 odd thrown a round, so extrapolating that out over 12 rounds gets to around the same total at AJ threw against usyk. Now two things to consider are 1) AJ was bollocksed after 12 against usyk and was on the brink of stoppage due to exhaustion in that final round, whereas Dubois had no such issues through 10 rounds at the same pace. However, the second point to consider is that AJ missed a huge number of his shots against usyk, whereas Dubois was landing on miller like he was a human heavy bag. We all know it’s more exhausting when you throw and miss. So that’s a huge component you left out of this analysis. However, in general yes you are completely correct. AJ generally has a lower output that Dubois and it’s undeniable that he has had significant stamina issues in the past

I think he's given the illusion that he has good/better stamina than in the past by pacing himself better over the course of a fight but that's only really these last few years. I think in the beginning of his career he looked to me like he really wanted to hurt his opponents. He's a bit more calculated now and seems to have lost that bit of spite. That's not to say it's necessarily a bad thing but definitely seems more conscious of gassing.

    Perhaps instead of saying stamina you should replace it with ‘gas tank’ as they’re not exactly the same thing
    “Stamina: the ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort.”
    AJ was in a bad way in the 12th v Usyk 1st fight, Ruiz after the first knockdown, Vlad after the knockdown but never did he do what Dubios did v Joyce or Usyk. If you’re talking stamina then that history has to come into the debate. If you’re talking gas tank then there’s no debate to be had. And personally I don’t see AJs loss v Ruiz as being anywhere near a ‘quit’ close to the levels of both of Dubios - he clearly knew what he was doing there’s no debate whereas AJs was debatable. I was in the arena in NYC and everyone was very confused why the ref stopped it and the feeling at the time was AJ wanted to continue and could continue.

      I’m an AJ fan, but AJ vs Dubois is no foregone conclusion. I hope Joshua doesn’t make the mistake of underestimating Dubois like many boxing fans are, because that will be a huge mistake.

    Although I agree that Dubois has better stamina. AJ threw over 600 punches in the first Usyk fight but to your point he was absolutely gassed.

    Im not so convinced about this. We will se in a few weeks. Whether this is true or not, AJ will dismiss this Dubois guy within a max of 9 rounds. And the Dubois will finally start to disappear again from the heavyweight landscape....

    So many people saying AJ flattens dubois, yea he might but everyone forgets if AJ gets caught clean once by a puncher like dubois it's probably curtains

      No it isn’t. There is no evidence in his career that backs that claim whatsoever. That’s what you THINK may happen
