I miss that show. So many great late night horror / b-movie hosted flicks like this, USA Up All Night, and a few others I can't remember the names of but I have vague nostalgic memories for. Wish this sort of stuff could be released to dvd, just MST3K it made watching these movies all the more enjoyable.
This show was awesome. I think I watched it almost every weekend of my childhood. Super sad when it ended, but if I remember right, they replaced all the other hosts with this weird guy girl duo who would like cook and stuff that wasn't as interesting. JBB is a legend though.
@@williamflatner3454And Dinner and a Movie was TBS, while MonsterVision was TNT! Both great shows! That theme song from Dinner and a Movie takes me back!! "Beans and Cornbread"
God I loved this. I abandoned my social life in high school to stay home and watch this. I was never happier.
Time to get on Shudder.com
I couldn't have said it better myself! 😊 Friday nights with Joe Bob were way better than some dumb high school parties. 👍 I did the same thing.

Wasn't this guy in Casino?
Yes but he acted under his real name John Bloom
Joe Bob Briggs is going to be at the Days of the Dead convention in Indianapolis in June! Can't wait to meet him!
I was in College at the time, what a relief to have a Saturday as a sanctuary.
Wow; they played it off as a joke, but this was very accurate.

Dinner and a movie was before monster vision
@@williamflatner3454 That's right! Thanks for correcting that. They just stopped having JBB on MonsterVision and then it kind of died.
@@williamflatner3454I forgot about Dinner and a Movie. 😊 Thanks for the reminder.
