Excellent demo of this pedal, thanks very much! I’ve been tossing up between this and the Strymon Compadre…they’re both really good.

I find the secondary dual purpose knobs confusing, I wish they had dedicated knobs even if they were all smaller and condensed

I totally agree. I have never found a piece of great so frustrating, with the alternate knob functions. I felt like throwing it against the wall. I can’t stand not being to actually see what the alt knobs are at without having to go back and adjust them. Returning it.

Seems extremely subtle, I can’t hear much difference between the different models and it just doesn’t seem to compress very much

    what about sidechain ducking?

Mini USB?!? That seems like a poor choice.

      Why?

@@delusionwalker8852 It’s 22 year old technology. Most people no longer have “extra” mini USB cables. Typically people have extra micro USB or USB C cords now. Also the connect/disconnect rating is half of what micro USB is rated for.
All of that to say, hardly any company still uses mini USB connections today. It was just a surprising decision as I haven’t seen that for a while now.

Considering that the companies probably have tons, and already have the schematics/layouts incorporating the part, why change or get current until it’s absolutely necessary? What benefits are they gaining/giving up by the change?
