I learnt so much more in these 4 minutes that I ever would back in school, thanks for sharing this beautiful video! Visual learning is better than textbooks!
Thank you so much. Seeing concepts that you read about helps me better understand a TON. Please keep uploading videos like this :) Algae would be nice too!
Thank you so much! I'm a biology teacher in school and it's the first time for me when I see spores and sporophytes in such details! Now I wonder, why didn't I ever thought about using microscope for this by myself?!)
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I make material for students and teachers. I had the same thought as you, but to see some of these things, it takes a lot of time and preparation. I didn’t see a lot of these specimens with my own eyes until I started making RUclips videos.
I have no idea about this But after watching your video my all doubts got cleared And now I can understand from my book easily Just Because of you Your video was just amazing Keep make vdo like this So students can learn from your vdo ❤ Highly appreciated
Wow amazing it is very helpful for me after watching this video I understood that concept and make easier to me make more video in biology subject Pls it is request of me
so weird , some batches of mine moss died out turning brown , can they handle constant wetness and another thing , if they are up in the wall ,how they mate ? rain ?
Hi well I have so many questions here, you see I grab some moss from the soil near a restaurante and its triving, 1 cm in almost tree weeks, when will I see more spores? Will it be in years? Please say its just months to grow from soportes to full grown moss... Greatings from México
Similar to other plants. I use artificial light and I mimic the seasons (8-12 hours of light per day) and they are fine. You can experiment and see how much sun your moss likes. It might be fine with full sun all day. Keep an eye on it, water it and it should be fine.
@@sci-inspi Awesome! It's funny cause theres alot of videos on fern life cycles but not one has a video showing a real prothallus. Given the quality of your videos, i think it would look really good.
The intro didn't look like sphagnum moss. However the pompom/elongated pompom looking one looked so much like sphagnum. In the Carnivorous Plants world, sphagnum moss is a very valuable potting medium. Thanks for sharing!

Both are good in their own way.textbook and visual

Don’t say that!

This was awesome. Wish you had it for ferns, angiosperm, conifers, and fungi Super helpful. Thanks!
If I ever get my hands on some, I will make a video on them.

Yes, an awesome lesson plan - I've always loved mosses, lichens, fungi and the minuscule biosphere is still so rich.
That's funaria. 1000 times more influencial than reading about it

Hello, Greetings. Look for capsules in your moss. The spores come from there. It should take a few weeks to months to develop.
@@sci-inspi how great you answered my questions!!!!! 🙇♀️ now if you dont mind I have other... Here we go ¿how many hours of sunlight does it need?

Mosses are the oldest land plants. In the Carboniferous age, they grew into tree size, like Lycopods.
Awww thanks whatever I wanted to see is revealed!!!!
Now its quite clear and understandable😊😊
You're welcome Maahira G. Glad this video helped.

Something is making it move. Or is life just a mixture blended by the earth spinning? Something causes expansion.
I use microscope lamps with fans that help cool the bulb. Maybe the air from the fan moved it around.
