The infamous freakishly small wooden spoon
The color is called Sunset Mauvish Pinkish Orange. If you buy the crayola crayons with the oversized 1200 color box (with TWO crayon sharpeners), it is usually the fiftieth color on the twelfth tier.
flor wast this guy crayolas
WHAT THE FUCK!? HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW THISS??
@@mike7546 He didn't. But...you bought it.
@@Bhatt_Hole ayy lmao 👾
"Yes, this would be a much easier dessert for people to eat if you cut the peaches up, but then you don't get that beautiful presentation, so don't do it." Lol, foods before dudes
Saw your comment...kindly check the peach melba from the following link...hope you like it: @
Thanks! Great job on the being first. It's quite an honor.
I just made this, it was absolutely delicious - the best part was the raspberry sauce, tangy yet sweet and bursting with raspberry goodness.
MrLokilis could you conceivably swap blackberries in?
This guy's voice and presentation is so convincing, he could sell ice to an eskimo.
That's why there are eskimos in cold places. He sold them the idea of living on ice.
I made this for my mom on her birthday. She loves peaches and rasberries! She said this was perfect and that you are a genius. I also made her your Pavlova! She loved it!. Thankyou so much Chef John! Keep on posting videos. I've made her so much stuff of yours and my dad loves your brownies! Keep posting! :)
Oh that’s actually sweet, nothing more joyful then made something for Parents... They never disappoint you with negativity...
But always pass a smile and actually feel good
Made this today. The grocery store didn't have raspberries; not even frozen ones! So I substituted with black berries. Came out very, very delicious. :) Glad I went for it. Will definitely try it with raspberries another time. The smell coming from the peaches in the vanilla-lemon syrup gave me a bit of a head ache; not my kind of smell. Delicious though!
I started experimenting a couple years ago cooking fruit with balsamic vinegar and really liked the results - now I feel vindicated because someone who is a professional does this too. Thanks Chef John! :D
No matter how bad I feel or how much my day sucked, when I ear the music with the smoothing voice of chef John, I know everything is going to be just fine!
So, my sisters boyfriend has this gigantic peach tree in his garden.
Peach Gelee, Peach Cobbler and Peach Melba. I've done all three and they were amazing. Thank you for the recipes John :)
I just made this, and now I'm bummed I have to wait for it to chill, so I can't eat it 'til tomorrow. The smell of the vanilla peach syrup on the stove is the most heavenly aroma I've ever had the pleasure to experience. After the peaches are gone, I'm saving that syrup to drizzle on ice cream, fruit, cake, you name it!
Man his voice is soothing. It is like one of those TV Dads that gives you that amazing heart to heart talk where it ends with a "Thanks Dad!"
I love food and I love opera, so after seeing this video about five times (like ya do) I looked for online recordings of Nellie Melba, who was one of the mostly highly paid and esteemed entertainment figures of her day. As with most great singers of her time (and a few from our own time!) recordings don't flatter her, and as recording technology was improving she was aging. But you can still hear what a wonderfully expressive singer she was.
See my blog post about Nellie Melba, inspired by this video: www.taminophile.com/2018/02/my-new-drag-name-peaches-melba.html
I was thrown off when I didn't hear "and just a pinch of cayenne..." :)
And I picked up raspberries and peaches today too! And I'll sliver up some almonds because I'm making Almond Crusted Salmon for dinner. But the raspberry sauce and peaches are all simmered and cooling off as I speak!
"...So let's assume that just this once you actually listen to me..."
Shit, Chef John called me out.
Heh. I didn’t hear that.
In these early videos, the amount of Chef-John-ness in his voice hasn't yet fully ripened.
"...slowly, drizzle that raspberry sauce over your peach." I see you Chef John. lol 😉
I am a Muslim and I'm fasting today. I can't believe I even clicked on your video. Oh God. Love you Chef John. Ugh fml

Thank you for this video, and all the rest of your videos.. I've been watching your channel for a couple of years now, I love to watch cooking videos when I so badly want to eat something sweet. By the time I watch a few videos, I totally get over my sweet cravings.. Never actually bake anything, since I know if I bake I'll end up eating it !!! I have to say, this is the one video that I'm gladly going to actually make. I'm supposed to put on 10 pounds or so, I think this is a good one to start with. Thanks again.. :) :):)

I tried this and it turned out so good! Thanks for this Chef John! Now I have a question. I had some of that surgery peach syrup broth left that I used to chill the peaches in and I was wondering if I could salvage it for something else instead of just throwing it away. I made a small mixture with a little bit of corn starch to thicken it up and it made a nice little peach vanilla ice cream syrup. But I would like to know if there are any other uses for the original peach vanilla syrup?
I have never cooked any of these things but I still like watching the videos.
this looks so good
