I was in Zurich last week, and found that the city is very peaceful, people are nice and polite. I spent half day in the park near the national museum. Nothing else but just quiet place and it can keep you linger there for the whole day :)
That does describe a lovely aspect of Zurich -- it's a big city with a lot going on, much to see, and yet at the same time, peaceful with many quiet neighborhoods and pedestrian zones.
I visited Zurich 40 years ago and was there for 3 months. when I saw this I felt very familier with the city. I used to visit HILTL for veg. Indian food. great place and beautiful. .

Thanks very much for that comment -- it is hard for anyone to see everything on the planet, so travel videos do play that role of bringing you there, especially when the program is a long, detailed piece to put you in the "zone" and almost be there. Plus maybe it will inspire many to visit Zurich when they see how interesting it is.

Usama Fayyaz that really depends on how do you "want to live" here in zurich. If you stay in a cheap hotel (which is still not cheap in the opposite of many other countrys ), mostly eat food from supermarkets (not so much restaurants), spend some time "walking and sightseeing for free" (not so much activities that cost money, unfortunately the swiss franc is very strong ) -> then it can be pretty affordable . But i don't know a concrete price. Where are you from ?
Usama Fayyaz i forgot: also i can recommend you to take a hotel which is not directly in the city, maybe in a smaller city next to zurich. Switzerland is not so big and the public transportation is very good, so you easily will be in the city in like 10-20minutes.

Thanks for a fine visit to Zurich. I was there FORTY YEARS AGO, after a stop and start train journey from Geneva through Bern. (Lots of bears in Bern.) I stayed a 'new idea' in hotels: small, scrupulously modern and minimalist 'cabin' style rooms. Shade of the Orient!
Stayed in this city for several months, Jelmoli, Bally, PKZ - bought jackets, shoes, belts, dress pants. Go straight to see Zurich lake and magnificent old buildings in the other side
