2024 and still listening and rocking out.
I'm in the US and they didn't get a lot of play here. I've been looking into Maiden's past, and found these guys. Freakin awesome band!
Almost looks like Dave Murray there on the left stage, where he usually is!
The music of my youth...and old age!!! (61 years old)
@@pfdrtom You're not old. We are fine wine. Better with age.
@asdf9890 Check out MSG, too. I was rocking to all these great bands in the States. Late 80's and currently. It never gets old. UFO, MSG, Dio and Scorpions, to name a few. When music was music and had powerful meanings.
This song is going on 50 years old and Still BEATS Anything today.
Truth
Because its real
personally this is my favorite guitar solo!
How bout "still in love with you" 1975
We're in 2023 and still listening UFO, this is epic!!
Me too
AWESOME, been listening for over 35 years, man!!!!
Can we do lights out next
Yeah.. man thats very true... its only Rock`n Roll but we like it!!
All time all era ..
That is one of the greatest riffs ever imo
2分42秒からのマイケルシェンカーのプレイが好きすぎて、この曲は40年近く聴いててまだ聴きたくなるってとんでもない神曲。永遠に語り継がれるに違いない
I just totally love the way this man plays guitar!
One of the BEST!!!!!
UFO...simply one of the best Hard Rock, early Metal bands to ever exist...smokin'!!
I got into UFO after hearing many of the greats who always mention UFO as a big influence.
Thee most underrated band, ever
อำนวย
@@stevehammonds1534 By far, best guitar wirk by M Shenker in Hard rock. Lets not gorget Uli john Roth with scorpions.
I'm down here in Australia and got switched on to UFO by chance in about 1977 with (Lights Out).... Never looked back. Got into Scorpions as well at that time, plus being in Aus, of course AC/DC............ The 70s were full on for music. Never to happen again I'm afraid. I'm 65 now but still play these songs LOUD............... YEAH Baby.....
60 here and still rocking to REAL music
That riff never gets old. UFO!🤟
Rock at its finest! You'll be able to play this 100 years from now and still get a chill down your spine! Bravo UFO!😍
michael schenker super guitar player
Michael Schenker is one of the most technically gifted guitarists, he never plays a bad note.
moog shouldnt have punched shenker ! he was warned
Saw him in MSG at Cleveland's Peabody's Down under with Exodus
He never seemed to get lost! Magic! I've seen him live about 20 times in different bands and was always amazed. And I'm a bass player!
Se separó sin reparar su acción varías veces en plena giras. De ahí virtuoso en las cuerdas.
Is't really schenker on flying v?
Schenker was dynamite in UFO
Brilliant musician
IM ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY YEARS OLD AND I STILL FUCKEN ROCK WITH THESE BOYS!!!
Youngster ! I saw Mozart live , it was the best! No phones everyone living in the moment
I saw him in 1976
I'm 64,and I've been listening to U.F.O. Since I was 16.
I still come back to watch this video after so many years. The incredible talent of these guys totally made me have to follow the UFO legacy. Whether the many bands that followed want to admit it or not these guys totally laid the groundwork for so many of the hard rock bands that we listen to today
They put out the greatest live album ever!!
One of the most underrated metal bands of all time. One of the greatest ever in my opinion.
What a great guitar solo...fantastic band
This was when they plugged in and played. No magic music machines.
Just amps and drums and vocals.
Today's created studio music can't compete.
Saw these guys with Judas Priest, back in the 70's. Great concert.
Damn that would have been a great show! Hate that all of my favourite bands were in their prime decades before I was even born lol
The greatest teenage guitarist of all time.
Clean Guitar
Clean Bass
Clean Drums
Clean Voice
Sound amazing !
Phil mogg what a great singer!!!!
Ok missed out on UFO as I was a child and did not know. But I’m impressed now! Better late than never. Super cool🎵🖤✌️
Still incredible after all these years absolutely brilliant
UFO....un parallel, unmatched.... grossly underrated....
Early teen ( mid 1970's) heard this album. One of the best live performances I ever witnessed at a Day on the Green.
Love that rare '71 Medallion Flying V that Schenker is playing!!!
still my fav 50 yrs later
I saw this on Don Kirshner's ROCK CONCERT back in '74 or '75 and I've NEVER been the same. It inspired me to play guitar and love metal forever !
Most underrated band of all-time. 🤘🏻
FABULOSA LA VOZ DE PHIL MOGG.
MICHAEL SCHENRK ES UN GUITAR HERO.
Hell, I went ahead and took my shirt off too what the hell 👍💥
Who said there was no time travel to the past. Closed my eyes and wham I was back in the 70s. Great and awesome 6 and a half minutes I got back
Michael Shenker is the sole reason I busted my ass when young to buy my first and only flying V. I broke myself to death learning his style. 58 years old now still jamming to Sir Shenker.
Great comment , Armando! In my opinion , he is the greatest guitar player ever to come out of Germany. Greetings from Hanover! But please: Schenker! ;)
@@stefhan4667 There are and there have been many top of the line guitar greats in music history. But there is only one guitar messiah.
Michael Shenker
@@armandochavez3365 Schenker rocks!!!
Herr Schenker
Yeah Brother, been rippin Sir Michael since 1978 and I turned 62 this month. Never too old to rock n roll.
RIP Paul Raymond and Pete Way!!
Genuine rock and Roll band🎶🎶🎸
The first time I ever saw UFO was when they toured with the Scorpions in the late 70's and what a show it was I was blown away! If you got to grow up in the 50's through the 80's with all the classic movies & music, YOU were blessed!
Tell me I wasn’t born into the greatest era of rock music‼️
Pete Way is the worlds best hard rock Master Bass Guitarist in United Kingdom & the worlds. RIP Pete Way.
Oh ya 63 in 2024 and still listening to one of the most kick ass guitar solos ever. Can never listen just once gotta go back to 2:52 at least 4 times before letting the song play to the end.
For those questioning the synchronisation, this is from "phenomenon ", a studio album synced to a non related live video .
If you want a true live version you need the "strangers in the night" album.
thanks. That was a strange mix.
I noticed that every live lick was exactly the same as off the studio album :). Mike loves to improvise.

here is the "true live version" of this concert, enjoy! ruclips.net/video/onpb6ZCD7dQ/видео.html
Strangers in the Night……best live album ever. Just a brilliant example of an amazing band at the height of its power
And what a killer solo!
Fantastic rock 70's..solo guitar hero..the best..
As a kid in the early 90's I had no idea who UFO was until one of my neighbors bought all the vinyl from a small town radio station that went bankrupt. He invited me and some other neighborhood kids to come in his garage and see the collection..hundreds of vinyl records and even some tapes...but all from the late 60's to mid 80's when the radio station went bust. We were into harder stuff so he introduced us to Black Sabbath, Montrose, T-rex...and yes, UFO.
Loved Ronnie Montrose. Had the first album with Sammy. And gammas albums.
AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Metallica, Slayer, Exciter, Saxon, Thin Lizzy, Exodus, Accept, Ozzy, Rush, UFO, Led Zeppellin, Gordon Lightfoot, DEVO, Wall of Voodoo, Etc.
@@joemiller9931
All amazing artists!
Talk about hitting the mother lode!
Phil mogg coolest frontman ever
Along with Lizzy the best live hard rock experience in the 70's! 😜
I saw UFO back in late 70s & again in mid 80s..... good stuff.... !
Classic rock song
After Seeing Rush Play Their 2nd Concert In The U.S. in Portland Oregon 1974. I Saw UFO & Rush {Lights Out Tour} Roseburg Oregon Fairgrounds Auditorium September 22 1977.Loudest Concert I've Ever Heard. Only Time I Ever Had 2 Go Outside 2 Survive a Show. Great Memory ..
Found this song while tripping my face off and kept it on repeat. What a wild ride that was
I love to play this riff. One of the greatest riffs ever written.
Schenker forever!!!
One of the best guitarist dont understand why he"s name not mentioned in the top 10
Impagável...extraordinária banda...insubstituível ...toda a essência do Rock n Roll
ouvindo esssa obra de arte voltando do trabalho às 17h do dia 06.04.2023!!!! viva o rock
Best rock guitar solo ever. Having said that, it honestly sounds like it's being played on a violin at times, especially near the end! Must be a bit of a violin's soul trapped in that guitar ;-)
I've read that the Schenker Brother's had a Classical Music upbringing...interesting for You to point that out. Ulrich Roth as well,or so I have heard...
@@kevincogan5174
Have heard the same!
UFO was my first show. 1981 Wild Willing and Innocent tour
One of my all time favorite bands, I seen them in Texas back in 1978 and again 30 years later and they were still awesome….👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You must have been at the Texas Jam.
The older music was (is) the best.
Truly professional rock music
Phil has a great voice!! He's not a screamer!!
John you are dead on Phil had such a sly soulful tone it fit Michael Pete and Andy perfectly
Not like the wife then hahaha
Phil is also one of the most consistent singers, he sound just as great live as in the studio and through the years I have never heard an off performance.
The quality and quantity of metal from the 70's and 80's was so good I can't imagine a better time to be a teenager. I'm sure my father thought the birth of rock and roll in the 50's and 60's couldn't get any better either. It's funny because my kids like the metal from my day more than recent iterations since the 90's.
I was 15 in 1980 and spent the following years travelling the UK watching all these bands. We loved Schenker back in the day and, in 2018, had a school reunion where we went to see him again live in London. Same friends, same songs, golden memories...
I love your show tooltime its awesome!!!!
I also prefer 1980's, but of course the 1970's too. I was a teenager in 1980's
@@tomdaniels3392 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is no metal. This is progessive hard rock.
UFO at the Best Long Life Rock,n`Roll
My fav song from them ❤️
Rip Pete. Nice guy. Rocked out with you once never forget it.
I saw UFO in Memphis in 76'. Warmed up for RUSH 2112 tour and still to this day one of my top 5 shows after over 300. I saw Schenker in Oct of 22 in Nashville and it was DAMN GOOD !!
Phil is great!
Now that's ROCK!! Just now stumbled onto UFO...and that solo is riiiiiiping!!! Looks as tho I gotta catch up on this freekin smoking band from the real days of music!...also, gotta find out who the guitarist is, dudes a flame thrower!
💪😎👍
Michael Schenker
Maybe start with UFO LIVE........aka Strangers in the NIght ..... Some say THE BEST LIVE album ever. I agree.
Than check out Walk on Water, many years and many tears and a few rehabs later. OMG. Still Got It.
@wzortrex
I'd start with Phenomenon, then Obsession and then Strangers. Walk on Water is amazing!
My favorite UFO album.
Saw UFO in '81 during the "Wild Willing and Innocent" Tour.
Day on the Green #2 in Oakland CA
Band lineup in order of playing,
38 Special
Gamma
UFO
Kansas
REO Speedwagon
Tickets were around $17.50
I really miss those days...
I was one of those teenagers and it was awesome baby, was a teenager until 1984. Great times.
I was born in 1964.
Many guitarists in the world have Michael Schenker as their idol.🤘🤘🤘🤘
that sound of guitar solo made many people cry
Schenker, the best rock lead guitarist of all time.
Once Michael left Scorpions there was no stopping him. Even 50 years on, he's still unstoppable.
My cousin played keyboards on one of his recent recordings. He has recorded and toured with some guitar bids and he says MS is just amazing to this day
I love Michael on Coast to Coast (album Lovedrive)
so musically influenced....greatest of musicians
Still jammin! In 2024-♾️
ฉันฟังเพลงนี้ในช่วงที่ยุคเพลงร็อคสูงสุด ประมาณปี 1970-1980 โคตรอมตะเลย ร็อคหัวโยก 🎸👍
Man…. Growing up every summer great songs on the radio !
I saw them in Seattle summer of 77 touring with Blue Oyster Cult.
Saw The Same Tour in Roseberg Ore. UFO & Rush Sep. 22 1977 ..
I’m 74 and I approve. Not sure about my neighbor though .
50 years ago we had great music & shitty cameras
new we got great cameras & corporate noise
UFO and ACDC Baltimore Civic center 1978, after bon Scott mooned the audience, Michael schenker and Angus Young did a 20 minutes solo encore that was mindblowing⚡
Sounds great!
Ommmfffff 💥
saw them up in toronto on the same tour, fucking legendary. one of my best concerts ever. both bands are great live, they took turns headlining, angus mooned us. bon carried him on his shoulders moving thru the crowd.
@ hbily Holly Crap!! that must have been awesome!!!
Saw the same concert in Springfield IL-that’s where I learned Southern Comfort, potato chips and french onion dip make a foul smelling puke
Started Listening to them in 1972? Flying album. Still love them

Not bad for a Classic Riff, written by a 19 year old kid as well!
Saw Michael with McAuley Schenker group in 87 and with Michael Schenker group in 2011!
And he STILL slays "Rock Bottom"!
