It really is beautiful out there, I live right along the trailhead where people park. I can say there are quite a lot of rescues from people getting in over their heads up there, and or getting stuck in the dark and getting lost. I also have to say there is a fatality almost every single year.
It is a beautiful spot and we fully agree ! It's so important to know your limits and use a navigation when hiking. Trails can take longer than expected and it's easy to get lost or injured if one is inexperienced. You are very fortunate to live so close to this beautiful trail.
This trails is in our top three this year, well worth it. There’s three more falls past the last fall in the video, but you gotta go down the creek about another half mile.
