There's only one reason I'm scared of the woods, I grew up in the country with the house surrounded by them, them. I encountered them every summer for 22 years and no matter what I did they would always get me, every single time. I've even been hospitalized from my encounter with them once, I was in constant pain and couldn't even move for weeks.
They are commonly known as poison ivy.
Red Doggo my brother too. His eyes were swollen shut. Had to go to the hospital. Had a few bad rashes from that evil ivy myself.

On one campout i had while in the BSA i woke up in the middle of the night to being in my sleeping bag but my tent was missing. i was where my tent had been, but my tent was gone. And it had started raining. Freaked me out to no end. Finally i found out it was the other scouts pranking me so i collapsed their tent on them.

There's nothing like that feel you get laying in bed in the middle of the night, all alone with your eyes closed while listening to the story through earbuds on a cellphone, and you're so fully engrossed into the story that all of a sudden you get this uncontrollable irrational uneasy feeling that someone or something is now watching you and that you're not alone any longer.
So ever so slowly slide your hand over to where your cellphone is next to you, the whole time trying not to make any sudden movements. Then you slowly and reluctantly open your eyes. The you quickly flip your phone's screen away from you so you can scan all the corners of your room with the tiny bit of light shown from the screen, just to make sure that whats in the story isn't now in your room watching you lol
Thats how you can tell a Amazing Story Teller!!! When they can have you so fully immersed that you get scared. I love your channel!!!

Great stuff man as usual.. When someone gets a second chance when waking up against a tree with a knife sticking in it saying get out, then thats exactly what you should do. Hell they took you out of your tent while you were in your sleeping bag without even waking you up. Now i wake up with the slightest move, touch, door opens, and not out of fear at all, I've had that where i can hear people speaking from say across the street when other people couldn't hear them. Anyway Maybe they put that dude in some kind of trance were he wouldn't wake until they had gone, idk. I love woods, and hell yeah there's creepy stuff in them that would make most people say forget it and turn back around, but if you really do come across a complete silence where you don't hear the animals or even the wind itself that means there is a Major Predator around, may be an animal, maybe NOT.. Happy camping lol

Back in the pre-christian days its was mostly bulls or goats or chickens that got sacrificed. Also nothig indicated it was a spirit or a faerie who told him to leave. It may as well have been some horrid monstrousity that saw him as an rival in his/her territory.

So far this is the best creepy pasta I’ve heard and I’ll tell you why. I got about three minutes into it before I fell asleep, but even in my sleep state my mind was still listening to it and made it real. It was terrifyingly scary and epically awesome!

Ugh, even if there hadn't been supernatural entities, this guy was headed to an episode of I shouldn't be alive with how little preparation he did for this trip. Minimal tools, drinks with fire going, and doesn't bring back up batteries for phone.
I've stealth camped in Cowes wood several times, always peaceful and natural no severed bunies. I took corned beef and powdered potatoes instead, not forgetting my ground coffee of course...Now Blean woods.....That's a different story....

I have always liked the plot of the unknown being warning the trespasser with something like get out or leave. It means they won't tolerate you but they are also willing to show mercy. A heightened sense of reasoning

Strange I actually camped here on my own in June 2020 in a really thick part of the wood, it does have a weird vibe and in the middle of the night I was having weird dreams that there were “things” all around my tent, I went back to sleep and thought I’m being silly as it was my first solo wild camp, the bird song in the morning was amazing though. Now Ive seen this I can’t go back!😅

Very, very spooky story! But I really have to wonder about the story teller's intelligence. While camping in a isolated area, he is stalked by ghostly entities------and his way of dealing with it is to hide in his tent and pull his sleeping bag over his head! Really??!! What is this guy, ten years old? He figures hiding under the covers will fix things? How about this: leave your gear, get in your car, and drive like mad in whatever direction will get you back to civilization and will put the most distance between you and this forest! And forget camping---take up stamp collecting!

Great story, lovely reading. I think the guy killed the bunny and carved the tree himself, in his sleep. He was so terrified before anything happened, his unconscious took over, murdered the bunny in mistake for a monster, then left him a message on the tree. The perils of an overactive imagination and a desperate fear of the dark!
