I'm predominantly an artillery player so this was definitely one of those "the shoe is on the other foot now, let's play mindgames" runs.
Actually Jingles.. Mannerheim was a FINNISH. He was Swedish speaking (Finland is a dual language country with history of being part of Sweden), but was born in Finland (although at the time Finland was part of Russia (Grand Duchy)... Btw - he has a very interesting history (recommend reading it) - He was born in Finland, Spoke Swedish, served in the Russian military (all the way up to Lt. Gen in Cavalry), led the "whites" in Finnish independence war, led the Finns during Winter and Continuation war (as Marshal), became the President of Finland in the end of the war and eventually died in Switzerland... and that's just the short sum of it. He also made a long expedition across Asia (while in Russian military) and he receieved numerous medals and honors in different countries, including the GBE... I'm Finnish, and biased of course, but I still highly recommend on reading of this man, he led a truly extraordinary life.
Actually Finuc.. The reason for Mannerheim being considered Swedish up until the independence of Finland is due to the Mannerheim family being a Swedish noble. So he was swedish and became finnish. But as you say, he was born in Finland when it was part of Russia. Well, since I'm half-fin I may be a tad biased towards Sweden, but one must keep in mind the family lines and such. For example, the only reason the Swedish king is considered swedish is only since he is actually the king of Sweden, even though he is from french noble descent. Noble family trees are such fun times. :)
Achtually Jingles, since there were 14 seconds left at the end and they were 2 in the cap circle, that means there were 28 points remaining, so the VK didn't need to arrive 7 second earlier, but a full 28 seconds. on that note, I'm heading back to the salt mines.

My expectations have been thoroughly subverted by this match. The team I thought would throw did throw only for the opposite team to throw. What a ride!

"the German VK30.01H has always been a medium tank" oh Jingles, never change. It was a heavy tank for years, the next up the tree from the D.W.2 before they revised the tree about 3 years ago. Also worth noting the VK30.01H has arguably the best T5 gun in the game.
I've seen this sort of thing play out so many times in WoWs too. Score close, two enemy caps, DD flitting around one of them ignoring everyone telling them to cap.
Well, Jingles, you are right about the VK 3001(H)'s speed, it IS terribly slow, but: The gun of this thing (it former was called 7cm konisch, i dont know what its renamed now) is an absolute beast! You have 221pen with 0,29 accurravy and decent view range and camo values on tier FIVE! 😅 Once you got used to its slow top speed, its a fun thing to play, i three marked it in 78 matches, if i remember correctly 😊
I'd like someone (not me) to make a series of videos called "Hero or Heartbreak". It would be similar to this series of 'Throws'. People could weigh in at the beginning of the video if it's going to be a 'Hero' or 'Heartbreak'. For example, if a single tank (doesn't have to be main/highlighted tank) does an exceptional job and almost single handedly wins the game he would be a 'Hero'. If the game looks like it's going to be won but ultimately ends up a loss due to exceptional circumstances it would be a "Heartbreak'. The video I just watched would be a 'Heartbreak'. With that being said, I'll continue watching Game of Throws. Love the videos. Tks!!
Jingles, vk3001h has the stugs gun in a rotating turret with 80mm mantlet. Hardly a frontline heavy, especially since engine nerf, but very nice fire support platform

Mannerheim most definitely was NOT swedish. He was born in Askainen, Grand Dutchy of Finland. Served as chevalier in the Russian Imperial Guard before Finland became independent.
Technically the T24 couldn't have capitalized on the disable against the T67, as its per-shot reload is terrible for a 75mm gun at tier V, so hanging around for the 6ish seconds required for a second shot (and he'd have needed at least 2 shots to do it, so a minimum of 12 seconds) is enough time to get spotted and die surprisingly quickly.
Goes to show that even blaring sounds and a red highlighter over the battle timer will be easily ignored by the incompetent. With teammates like that, who needs enemies.
Driven by those players? Absolutely. Do not discount how powerful a competently driven O-I Exp can be, however. Even if driven poorly, if positioned properly, the carcass is extremely useful cover.
Oh wow that was a nailbiter! I was recently in a game where both teams were within seconds of capping and my TOG died trying to stop the enemy reseting only to see one of our mediums drive right by the vehicles capping our base without a shot fired so he could chase down an easy kill... we lost.
2:56 VK 30.01 H has a very good gun for it's tier, 157 standard penetration and 0.33 base accuracy, maybe when it was a heavy it didn't have that gun, but now it does, and it's actually good, you can penetrate any tier 5-6 tank with standard frontally, apart from the O-I, and the premium penetration is 227mm which is insane and pretty unnecessary for a tier 5 medium
It had that gun as a Heavy. Maybe when it originally was a fast medium it didn't have the gun, and Jingles never updated it in his memory from that ancient state.
Well, about the Vk. 30.01 H, it may have the speed of what is basically a superheavy and the armor of a Tier 4 light, but the pen on the gun is better than what a good chunk of the tds have at that tier.
I had a game much like this one on the same map in my KV 2 the other day. Both teams pushed and we gained the upper hand but started falling in the north and south as we were moving into the enemy base. Meanwhile there were several tanks, including a few mediums camped at the back with nothing to shoot at, that refused to move up and support us. The battle ended in a draw because the remainder of both teams, camping the back of the map kept waiting for the other to put on their man pants and move up which of course never happened. Talk about frustrating.
Actually, Jingles, Mannerheim wasnt swedish. He was of the swedish speaking minority in finland. He served in the army of the russian tsar before the independence of finland. Great fun this video anyway
Well honestly the VK didn't play that bad. He positioned himself perfectly to capitalize on the enemies pushing the base. He (and the OI Exp.) was the reason the enemies couldn't push over the the plateau because they would have just shot them to pieces. They weren't low health they had quite a lot of HP. Auxilar didn't get that much assist because the OI exp. spotted them too, so he was actually kinda useless. Also at the end it's very questionable whether the VK could have made it in time. At 14:25 he was probably the closest to the cap with ~1 min left of the game. It would prob take him 20-30s to get there which would just maybe win the battle by cap. So it was a very close decision. I've just answered almost the same (I've didn't looked for anyone else here on the comments, 'till now), but there's one thing: the VK player has 43k battles. He's not a newbie. He's just an average Joe. But definitively he's not the one to blame about the result of this game. I'll not put all my coins over the O-I to blame, too. Consider if both enemy arties didn't come closer and stayed at the end of the map, and if the enemy Skoda spotted for them? It would be a different result, too. I should cheer the allied T67 that made a brave scout run at the end. That resulted on the AMX Elc bis, Grille and leFH to be killed, and those things brought a chance of winning, but... think before that?
More importantly if the Skoda was still up on that perch (or in any position to defend the cap), he could have easily reset. Then it would still be a Draw. The only way they were going to assuredly win was to kill the Skoda.
The name of the tank indicates that it was the first design of a 30 tons tank, therefore the name of the tank is thirty-oh-one and not three thousend and one.
Actually Jingles! Mannerheim did speak Swedish as his native language yes, but he was a true Finn. Still a lot of people in Finland speak Swedish as their native language due to being under Sweden's reign for centuries and Swedish is still one of two Finland's official languages.
Yup. Speaking swedish does not a Swede make. Mannerheim was born in Finland, served in the russian army, as Finland was a part of russia, and spoke swedish. Still a Finn.
Hey Jingles, just fyi, dead tanks are invisible as far as view range and spotting are concerned, dead tanks are invisible and don't provide concealment. They do, as you say provide cover though.
Hello Jingles. Finn here. Mannerheim was Finnish, not Swedish, as others have pointed out already. I understand why this is an easy confusion, he spoke multiple languages at native level, actually altering between them on daily basis at home (monday Russian, tuesday Swedish, Wednesday German...). This is also a perfect opportunity to use the meme "You speak English because it is the only language you know. I speak English because it is the only language YOU know. We are not the same". Also as a Finn, I have no idea where these magnificent rock and mountain formations are in the Karelian Isthmus where the Mannerheim Line was located. Must be very well hidden among the flat forest and lake scenery.
Season 3. Dear god, I am getting old. My great grand kids will be coming up to me and asking what life was like back in my day soon. And I'll say "sonny when society was getting offended i was to busy watching Jingles videos in the middle of the night, and I don’t regret it" Stay safe everyone
The Mannerheim line isn't in Finland. At least where the borders are today. But where the border is located today and where the mannerheim line was is about roughly 25 miles (40km for you heathens) on the russian side of the border. Now, maybe the border has changed in 70 years, and I can't speak to that. It was built by the Finns to defend against the Russians but it was in Russia.
If they let the enemy advance at the beginning of the battle - the OI would dominate the fight, It's a good position because the OI will be impenetrable at that range but can kill everything.
I think Jingles has confused himself with the changes that was done to the VK 30.01 P, which used to be a great medium tank with speed and a great alpha, and sadly got changed to a slow heavy without updating that MT armour.
I have had so many losses/draws simply because someone has 2 brain cells fighting for 10th place and not capping or staying with your team. I can understand the oi staying at base Incase the last guy managed to travel across the entire map to cap, but that vk, just wow

The most bizarre thing is Auxilar is using the 76 mm gun instead of the 105 mm derp. I guess the 76 is more reliable when it comes to penetration values and accuracy.
Yep... When the hunger for a EXP Kill gets greater than a Victory, this happens ! Normaly a Draw should be counted as a Loss for both sides. Maybe some might learn from that !

Mannerheim is Swede all of the sudden? Nice. Every time I watch Jingles, I learn some new bullshit.
Yup. Speaking swedish does not a Swede make. Mannerheim was born in Finland, served in the russian army, as Finland was a part of russia, and spoke swedish. Still a Finn.
surprised he didnt drive into the cap circle on his way to the other corner of the map tbh.
Hey Jingles, just fyi, dead tanks are invisible as far as view range and spotting are concerned, dead tanks are invisible and don't provide concealment. They do, as you say provide cover though.
this was really two games of throws in one. My goodness
Jingles upload always best time of the week

Great video 😜👍
4:29 I feel like that line has been used before in a different context. 😏
I am speechless.
Owwww this episode made my head hurt. I'm going to take some ibuprophen and take a nap, this was too much.
If they let the enemy advance at the beginning of the battle - the OI would dominate the fight, It's a good position because the OI will be impenetrable at that range but can kill everything.
if rng lets the oi hit the and pin theres always that in this skill based game BURP did i say skill based ?
Wrecks do actually not provide concealment, the are hard cover but have no impact on spotting in either way.
Idk what jingles is on about, the 30.01h is amazing in the right hands and does have some armor
I think Jingles has confused himself with the changes that was done to the VK 30.01 P, which used to be a great medium tank with speed and a great alpha, and sadly got changed to a slow heavy without updating that MT armour.
@henryvaneyk3769 yeah it seems like it, the 30 01h doesn't have that great of speed; it's like the speed of the faster American heavies at best
I have had so many losses/draws simply because someone has 2 brain cells fighting for 10th place and not capping or staying with your team. I can understand the oi staying at base Incase the last guy managed to travel across the entire map to cap, but that vk, just wow
Jingles Mannerheim was a Finland Swede, he was still Finnish but spoke swedish as his mothers tongue like a large portion of Finns do
A real good throw, wow
Swedish speaking Finnish Marshal, in WW ", who served in the Russian Tsars guards until the Independence war in 1918 when he took command and organised the finnish army with the rank of general to fight the insurrecting Reds in Finland.
On Console this map is called Arctic Region
*The VK @ 14:50: "Herp a Derp Derp Derp Derp"
Thanks J
Auxilar must have been hitting himself for driving out in the open instead of returning the same way he went there...
Also noticed the crew skills were not that good. The reload was rather long and the sim time for a M4.
Auxilar here... Artillery player, dropped the game 3 years ago after playing for almost 5 years, came back 2 weeks ago and decided to start grinding other lines. Kinda newbish here :)
@@argenthellion You did really well until that last decision :)
May the Fourth be with you!
Given the VK and OI performance up to the end this was sadly a foregone conclusion
Season 3 was no wait at all … every other show on earth take note. This is how long you should wait between seasons
I think we've all been there and done that.
The most bizarre thing is Auxilar is using the 76 mm gun instead of the 105 mm derp. I guess the 76 is more reliable when it comes to penetration values and accuracy.
WOW and Great Draw
A game of all throws
Yep... When the hunger for a EXP Kill gets greater than a Victory, this happens !
Normaly a Draw should be counted as a Loss for both sides. Maybe some might learn from that !
The VK was the enemy teams MVP
