You are the one responsible for me starting to play world of tanks and also starting from these british medium tanks. Its not as bad as it sounds. Im a better player now and these tanks have gotten some nice buffs over the years.
its a bit tricky in WOT that APCR is used for both full bore penetrators with hardened core like Pz.Gr.40 (its a sub caliber round but has no discarding sabot, so basicly still a full bore round with hardened penetrator core) and proper APDS rounds like L36A1 APDS-T used with the L7 105mm gun. The later one has drasticly higher muzzle velocity, range and penetration in comparison to similar full bore, hardened penetrator core rounds

While there were obviously some mistakes, that was a pretty professional looking game! Very surprising that this is the first medal he's gotten- likely due to lack of opportunity if I had to guess!
lol I got mine (in a Centurion 1 of all tanks) handed to me in an assault game whith both teams being roughly equally bad. Didn't realy do anything. Just helped defend a chocke point. Ended with me vs. 6 enemies and less than a minute left on the clock. Two low healthers suicided on me and the others couldn't get to me before the clock ran out...
This reminds me of my T-35-85M. I do well in it because you learn how to properly pick a fight, how to be sneaky and when to run. Sometimes it works miracles too. You get in a scrap and the next thing you know you're the last one standing and you have 4 kills and you have no idea how you did it.
Hoorray Kolobanov, my 1st and only came from defending Karelia assault where the enemies missed to cap while i was running the timer down hiding...in my 2nd year of playing.
People put way too much stock into "DPM" as if it's a guaranteed stat. Many guns have great DPM on paper but in reality they suck because the penetration with it's ammo is sub par for it's tier. or it's accuracy suck, or it's aiming time sucks, or it's on a tank that move slower than snail. I'll take an accurate gun, that has good penetrating ammo, on a tank with average speed any day.

One of my favourites on all tiers, mostly because it plays like a textbook medium. The gold shell being HESH instead of higher pen APDS or HEAT means that it cannot sit in front of bunch of heavies and go through them, while regular APDS having high pen still gives a chance to fight when needed. I wish there were more tanks with unorthodox gold rounds, like low tier french AP and british HESH. Problem, of course, arises when you find yourself against 279's, at which point you can proceed to go f yourself. Also, I would have much rather that they buffed the dpm instead of giving it turret armor. For the love of god stop giving everything turret armor...
12:25 You would think that it's heavily armoured. But nope, the G.W Tiger (P), G.W. Tiger and the G.W. E-100 aren't heavily armoured, even on the hull.

my first kolobanof was way back..think even still beta..the isu152 was new to the game whit the bl10-gun,i was the only one left on Murovanka,hiding in the woods,and i asked the enemies(yes-you coud talk to them back then)if they dared to come one by one,instead of just gangbang me...and they did! they learned that day what the bl10-gun coud do, it was hillarious!
Oh wow, now my only ever achieved kolobanovs medal feels kinda cheated 😅 I got it at 2 o'clock nighttime slaughtering noobs with my Tier 2 Pz 38H 735(f) as the last player alive of my team... Well, i got at least some Radley walters medals in high tier (one of them in my T55A) 😊 Good Job to this guy, it was a tough one ✌️
@@emilbroman it felt epic as well, as every battle does if its "alone vs 1/3 of the enemy team", but i had the advantage of knowing that they have no chance except of capturing my base, you had a lot of opponents who have been a real thread to you! I read in annother comment that you have 10 radleys? How many battles do you have? I have 8 in 28k, but received 7 of them in the last 12k battles (yeeees, i have played like a noob for a very long time)😅

The problem here showcases the problem with the game itself now. Only two and a half minutes have elapsed and already the score is 2 - 7 with a massive disparity in the hit point balance. So many games now suffer this kind of avalanche or steamroller effect where the result is often beyond question. It just used to be quite rare but is now very common. Random games have always been a bit of a mad arena but NOW its especially silly. Progress is fine I guess and unavoidable perhaps but the *fun* element is long gone.
The problem with players in the upper tier is... They don't spend enough time in lower tiers to learn the game. War Gaming has so many boosters, training books, personal reserves, etc, etc, that players don't get the experience they need to play effectively. If you look at new player tank results, you will see, most don't even have 10 games per battle, before they move to the next tier. Result is the absolute trash play you see in upper tiers. Players dead in under a minute of play, and those same players will say the same thing every time..... "I just play for fun"... that is what all shit players say, when confronted about it. And those same players will never bother to get any better. So in turn, we have a game full of Muppets.
When wargaming decided to shut down their servers on the Xbox 360, they lost me as a player. I'd love to play again, but there's just no way i can afford an XBOX 1 or SeriesX/S right now.😢

I've found that shallow sidescraping is decently effective in the Centurions. Despite it not having much armor, it can be very troll.
