The Dong Won Bin joke is actually referring to the famous Korean actor Won Bin 😂😂😂 No one would dare to name themselves Won Bin bc he is known to be the most handsome actor in Korea.
7:12 Geurami’s grandfather essentially named his sons Dong-1, Dong-2, Dong-3. 😂 Won Bin is a handsome famous Korean actor. To have that name when one probably doesn’t have the looks…. It’s like… if you’re an average guy and your name is Brad Pitt or something. 😅
it's funny how you get choi su yeon (the "mean /tsundere" girl) character all wrong. All her actions were with young woo best interest at hearth because in the company she's the one who know her best. She is the one who told jun-ho to set up boundaries and gavee him the idea of whale talk time which made their relationship more healthiest for both of them.
Spoilers: Having seen all the episodes it's obvious, but one of the reasons why Lawyer Choi's character is so well written is that you learn about her good intentions as the story progresses. He's not wrong in assuming that she's mean to Woo Young woo, given the information up until this episode. In the coming episodes it will become more apparent that she's actually a good person.
Did you notice that bestie Dong Geu-ra-mi’s mother, Soo-mi, is played by Yoon Jin-sung? She is the same actress who portrayed the shaman in The Glory. There will be a couple of more actors from Th Glory in upcoming episodes. Kim Hieora who played Lee Sa-ra, and Park Yoon-hee, who played pervert teacher Kim Jong-moon. And last but not least, the young actress who played Young-woo as child in episode one, Oh Ji-yul , also portrayed Park Yeon-jin, daughter Ha Ye-sol in The Glory. There were a couple of more, but these are the more notable ones.
I thought Woo's supervisor would accept it under one condition: if I do this, you have to convince Woo to return. I love how Woo sticked her opposing lawyer, asking if he had evidence. 😂
50-25-25 isn't "fair". Like you said, the property is already in the youngest son's name, so aside from family loyalty, he has no legal obligation at all to share the compensation with his brothers. In some Asian countries, corporal punishment is allowed in school.
The way you say "whale whale whale" reminds me of when my kids were toddlers and their mother said "well poo" in a Texas accent. One of the boys sounded up from the back and said "where mommy, where is the whale poo".
I love all the actors in this show and the writers for making such a heart felt and thought provoking story line!! Enjoy the ride my man! I loved every single episode and it most certainly pulled on all my emotions! Peace and love
i agree! u must react The Good Bad Mother, u would love it 💖 the main lead is the doctor from the Glory. AND he shooting for both of the drama at the same time. *sorry english is not my first language*
I just saw that you watched the Glory, alot of actors and actresses in here are also from the Glory. The wife is the shaman lady from The Glory as one example. Also the "eavesdropper is the best friend of the main character in Squid Games; not the one who went into the games in Season 1 but the one outside.
The actress who portrays Young-woo as a child (almost said the young Woo Young-woo, but this would have been one young too many!), Oh Ji-yul, also played Ha Ye-sol, the daughter of the main bully, Park Yeon-jin.
Min-woo (the male colegue rookie) is very complex charater, like everybody in the show. He is doing and will do mistakes, and many fans of the show doesnt like him, but he has backstory, he was raised and is living in the differet type of enviroment than others. He is is frustrated with the benefits and concessions woo young woo is getting, and I think a lot of people would be in the real world too. I had autistic classmate at hight school, he was very smart and usually don't need much help when it comes to studying, but he was allowed to have more time for tests and essays, he could work in a quiet environment (in empty class with assistant), and I personally didn't care, I was just a slacker, but a lot of people were frustrated from the fact that they needed more time, but didn't get it. And that was just about him getting more time. This situation in the show is about the fact that the employee did not come to work, submitted her resignation and still gets away with it if she decides to withdraw it. If he had done it, I don't think he would have been treated the same. He will do some very stupid shit, that willl be necesery, but I also realyy get hi frustration in this, so I dont agree with all that hate that this character get. He will do mistakes, but learn from them and work on himself to be better.
@@jumz03 where is the spoiler? :) I didnt say anything concret, just explaining the situation here and that we will have some backgroudn, which is just logical, there is always background in kdramas, and that characters making mistakes and learn from them is also in every kdrama. There is no spoilers in my comment.
@@jumz03 please, you read it again and dont make a fuss about literally nothing or tell me what exactly is a spoiler here. Becase there is none. I literally talking about nothing more than what is very common in kdramas in general and its expected.
Regarding the teacher who slapped Woo Young-Woo, I get that no teacher should be allowed to harm any student. Unfortunately, you should know that the time period in which these two characters went to school was when the corporal punishment or in simple words the teacher hitting students was allowed. Fortunately this practice is no longer followed in South Korea after revised laws.
Respectfully, I completely disagree with you about learning from someone younger. You can learn from anyone. People who have been doing something for a long period of time especially can learn from someone who's just starting out. People get stuck in their ways all the time and learning new perspectives can make you better at your job. And to think so is not disrespectful at allm
@@FreshestKReacts I can help, it's at 33:34 where you say that you don't know if you'd have said that Kwon "could learn something" from Woo if you were Attorney Jang (the senior attorney). I fully agree that one can learn from those who are younger, absolutely -- but I also think you're right that if Kwon were her senior, it could probably be viewed as insulting especially in Korea. ESPECIALLY in Korea. If you recorded this months ago, you probably already know that Choi, Woo, and Kwon are all rookie attorneys so they're equal in "rank".
Thank you for the timestamp. I made my point perfectly clear. You CAN learn from people younger then you, which I stated. However, the suggestion to someone with more experience that they can learn from someone with less can in fact be seen as undermining that experience they have. People are human at the end of the day and we pride ourselves on things we feel capable of, so that can easily be taken the wrong way. I was also taking into account the fact that its in Korea where work hierarchy and age are prioritized. With all that said, they're all rookies so my tangent in this specific situation is irrelevant.

There is a deleted scene that shows the gift given to Young Woo, it's a light that shows an underwater scene.
The whale mural is apparently in a real conference room in Korea. They borrowed it for filming.
