The basic premise hasn't changed in over 10,000 years. The movie looks good and I heard good things from my colleague about it. Made my pick though and I'll be seeing Oppenheimer instead next week and am really looking forward to that one. It was a tough choice - this is definitely on the must see list. You really gotta respect Tom Cruise for his professionalism and drive, and he demands a lot from himself. It's good to see that spirit still exists :) Cheers!

When it comes to colours in movies, what do you think about steven soderbergh’s movie traffic from 2000? He uses a couple of color palettes and sticks to them no matter what. Meaning, the characters do not look nice or natural so to say. I love that movie and it always makes me think. The soundtrack is amazing too.

Yep, respect is definitely number 1! As Tom himself says, they are here to entertain the audience. All the other studios and "creatives" think they're here to educate the audience (in their opinions). I saw the film at the weekend but don't remember seeing a message at the start though, is that just in the US (I'm in Australia)?

Great video, agree that Cruise is the biggest movie star and the last of a dying breed but not literally the last movie star left - Keanu can still open a movie, as can Denzel, Jolie, Pitt, DiCaprio, Stallone, Statham, Clooney and Hanks.
Just watched commentators this morning talking about the writers strike and the role of AI. One of the comments was how there is very little worth watching for the money and the Mission Impossible series as well as The Sound of Freedom are two exceptions to the recent influx of garbage.
