CMC Vellore does not collect the security deposit. It's paid to the Selection Committee. Since admission was completed only last week, the refund process will start this month. We can expect the payment around February.

I don't think money is an issue. Even if they have more money, I don't think you will find any major difference. Its unfair to open up seats in government colleges under NRI quota. Money cannot be the criteria for seat allocation, at least in government colleges.
Private colleges wants money, they run by raising funds, but govt college is run by govt money ie people's money, they serve for their own people, it is unfortunate to think that need for nri in govt colleges, it is unfortunate and unwanted idea. The mgt seats are for all is an injustice to native people, there must be some reservation for own state people, suns of the soil
Agreed that there should not be any NRI quota in government medical colleges. I have also spoken about the local reservation for management quota in my previous videos.
