@@phillyphan595 I would practice on any downhill areas you might have near you. It is almost 5,500 feet of decline and your quads will be burning by the end of the drop, which is at mile 18. I might suggest working out your quads and doing any weight training possible. I honestly don't do much downhill training myself and I am pretty beat up for a week after the race. What I am saying is if you are training for a pretty flat or gradual downhill marathon, you will survive it, but you will be sore. Lots of factors to consider but I weight around 190 lbs. and am in my mid 30's so I deal. =) Hope it helps.
