    This is wonderful! Lovely sounds and progression too. And holy shit did you really rebuild a 2600 with Behringer modules. Really cool. :) I'm enjoying the 1047 in my rack very much as well!

    What an interesting shifting and transforming patch! 3:30ish evoked similar vibes to the beginning of In An Autumn Garden by Takemitsu for me. Thanks for sharing this!

    Oh it’s been a while since in tuned into your channel, too long and apologies for that it’s been very busy… and these are the core reasons I love to keep coming back. Sounds so crisp and lovely… and also… a whole frame of 2500 modules!!
    I think I’m a few months I’ll be taking the plunge into these modules too to pair up with my Behringer 2600.
    If it's ok to ask you... which modules would you suggest I get to start with please and what kind of case do you have yours in? Is it two cases of the same size?

      The starting point is what the 2600 does not have :
      - mixers (there are only two of them on the 2600). The 1006 can mix two audio signals, or the 1050 can mix 2 x 4 signals or 1 x 8 signals (audio or control). And it reminds me that the 1050 can also be used as a frequency divider, so as a suboscillator (i'm gonna explore that right away !) ;
      - VCAs (just two, or maybe three if you use the ring modulator as a VCA, on the 2600 ; and for example it is complicated, with just the 2600, to modulate the amount of a modulation). So the 1006 (VCA + filter, for audio signals only) or the 1005 (VCA + ring modulator, for audio or control signals) will be useful ;
      - and of course you need the wonderful 1047 multimode filter.
      Then, depending on what you want to do, there is the 1036 (dual S&H) and the 1027 (amazing sequencer, but you need two or three 1027 to make really interesting things : polyrhythms for instance).

      @@lnefpd Thank you so much for the detailed and really fast reply mate! I’m just processing what you’ve said to understand it and also looking at the modules that you’re suggesting as well…
      😂😂 I loved you saying you can use the 1050 as a sub oscillator and you started looking into it right away 😄
      I think getting into Goulding up a 2500 system is going to be great with all the options it’ll give…. Especially like you said, modulating modulations on the 2600 is complicated… it would be ace to modulate the modulations like 3 levels deep… many LFOs etc.
      Thanks mate. I’m still reading your reply 😂
      Edit: so if I was to get those core modules that you mentioned in your reply (in a powered case obviously) then would I just patch from my 2600 into those 2500 modules and back from them into the 2600 to complete the signal path… or to put it another way, could I just pretend that the modules were all inside the 2600 itself… if that makes sense

    This is lovely. How many independent synth voices have you here?

    • @lnefpd
      @lnefpd  Месяц назад +1

      In this patch there is :
      - three voices (sawtooth waves), hearable at the beginning, and sequenced asynchronously to make random chords,
      - the bass line,
      - and, if you want, three 1047 filters that produce the « drops » sounds.
      So 7 independant voices.
