That is a great looking build and crisp looking paint job achieved with a brush 👏 as an amateur just getting back in to modelling after 20 years its nice to see brush painting to many videos are airbrush and not everyone has one.
Super result. I always think brush painting is much more fun than airbrush and also requires more skill. Thanks for the vid, I will probably get this kit.
Hola es impresionante tú trabajo, podrías decir cual es el costo actualmente de un avión de esa escala 1/48 con su juego de pintura completo, te lo agradezco tú información.
You made a great model. It is always nice to see brush painted models! Maybe next time you could also add some chipping effects? By the way, have you ever tried spray varnishes?
Gorgeous, sir. As I am moving into a smaller home my rattle can painting will have to cease. Watching your builds and learning brush painting. Question: The Vallejo "Model Air" paints...do they require a 50/50 paint to thinner mix? I have the Gray Scheme US Fighter paint set which is all of the airbrush paints...
No. You can apply them straigth from the bottle. Anyway, if you feel they are still too thick, and not leveling out nicely, you can add some thinner of course.
Begun building my M3 version ( kit #0855). Realized the kit gives you extra parts. So far I have two versions of the mid section, on the fuselage, in front of the tail fin. Possibly to build the M4?
which paints do you recommend under the brush. Hataka blue line, Revell or AK 3rd generation? Currently, I used Revell for the armor, these like to leave brush marks, depending on the color, Hataka forgives a lot, nice even surface, but they are less resistant to damage. And about Su great job, this one of the coolest painting schemes. still cool is the dark gray 305 Bolt with a boar in its bow
I have no experience with Hataka or AK. Revell Aqua and Vallejo Model Color are great for brush painting. Against brushmarks use a thinner or add a bit of water into the paint.
I'm impressed,it really does looks cool. They didn't look like this when I was a kid.. This country is free now from the f...g Soviets , that's why they look like this now ,f....g cool...

Thanks! Yes, I did try spray varnishes. It has its pros and cons.
Very good model paint finnish
Thanks!
Great build, superb finish! Except the kit's horrible pitots. you should replace them.
Thanks! There are a lot more horrible things on this kit. Not worth the investment. Maybe on the next one.

Mexican air forces use similar colours if anyone's interested ;)
Well tidy

Estou muito impressionado, pois ele fez tudo com pincel. Me lembra quando comecei aos 9 anos de idade.

A darker gray.

I remember those models, I've made few of them. Level of details by modern standards is ZERO. 🙂
Yes, but they are cheap at least. The one from Kitty Hawk costs 4X as much.
Is the su-22 and f-14 similar in size?
