    Don't ignore chaos, 9/10 times grabbing a chaos gate early is better then getting 25 health. Chaos can give you everything you are lacking. Elements, dmg, health, mana, mana recovery etc etc.

    Just a point about the Luckier Tooth: you say that it gives you a Death Defiance "back," but that's not accurate. It gives you an bonus Death Defiance, regardless of whether you've used one yet or not.
    I think your advice about prioritizing enemies is good, but I think whether you focus on little guys vs. big guys depends on the context: the weapon you're using, the size of the room, which enemies have armor, etc. If you're using the daggers and trying to depend on mobility, for example, then the little guys can end up boxing you in while you attempt to dance with the big guy. It may make more sense to use a cast to lock the big guy in place while you quickly go around assassinating the little guys, creating the breathing room you need to kill the big guy perfectly safely.
    Also worth pointing out that your choice of Aphrodite's cast was perfect, because (a) the spear inherently heavily benefits from having enemies be more clustered, unlike e.g. the wand (which focuses more on single-target attacks) or the axe (since it has a wide enough range to slap everything inside the cast's range anyway, without needing them to be drawn into the center of it), and (b) you already had eruption damage on your attack, which benefits incredibly from having enemies clustered together.
    Something to consider as a follow-up to this would be what Olympians pair best with what weapons, since I remember that was a huge "turning the corner" moment for me in Hades 1 when I started really thinking about that. Hestia's Scorch scales with how rapidly you hit an enemy, for example, making it way better on the Dagger's attack than on the Axe's.

      If you lose a death defiance and then switch to luckier tooth, you are replacing the death defiance you lost.

      I get that, but I don't see why you're framing it that way, when it grants you another death defiance whether you've used one or not. That would only make sense to me if the specific number of death defiances you started with was significant. Like if you start a run with 2 and you think you need 2 to beat Hades, it makes sense that the Luckier Tooth can be used to "replace" one that you accidentally had to spend early.
      It's like saying "It's good to find a $20 bill on the street because that can replace the money you lost if you accidentally dropped a $20 bill into a sewer drain earlier that same day" It's $20. It's good either way.

      @@temtempo13 because of the context of the situation? I'm talking about swapping keepsakes throughout levels, if you start with any of the other ones, and then lose a death defiance, you can swap to luckier tooth to get that death defiance back that you lost.
      I literally said that in the video.

    I strongly disagree that it's way better to go all n on one thing and get that one thing as powerful as possible, maybe two things lighter cast and special your attack can be irrelevant and melt bosses that way.

      Try building into everything and you will feel the game shift into something else. Instead of being pigeon holed into one type of gameplay you will flow through levels using your full kit. Once you get used to playing that way, the game becomes so much more fun and easier.
      Using your full kit on higher fear levels is needed imo.

    man says. -5 health for x is really risky ...
    finish in x seconds or i die 3 times. yeah that one.

    • @easynow1337
      @easynow1337  29 дней назад

      120 seconds is a long time for the easiest part of the game lol. Taking damage is risky, if you drop cast on an enemy, take 5 hearts and then get hit during it, it can be a lot of damage.
      If you have no way to get that health back, like the glass onion, you are risking dying early

      Are you this pressed over some advice to help people not risk losing health?

    • @alexgalaxynexus
      @alexgalaxynexus 29 дней назад

      @@easynow1337 your advice is alternatively. Lose x health for 3 encounters if you use x ability ( which in most cases you could avoid using said ability). Or do this run in x time 3 encounters or die. While claiming there’s no guarantee you’ll get it back. But also claiming it’s during the easiest part of the game.
      I’m not pressed just trying to see your perspective here.
