Das sind die Bilder von der Fahrt am Vormittag. Es fand am Nachmittag noch einmal diese Tour statt, die ich aber leider nicht mehr verfolgen konnte.

Schon als Kind fand ich das Krokodil faszinierend. Einer meiner grossen Hobby's ist der Train Simulator 2014 und hier ist das Krokodil mein absoluter Favorit. Ein sehr schönes Video. Herzlichen Dank dafür.

T1nusk No, I’m using Power Functions. I fixed the derailing by filling up the 4x6 gaps above the outer boogies.

J'adore et nostalgie oblige due à l'âge (68 ans) je regrette le temps d'avant tout en m'alignant, bien sûr, avec une certaine difficulté d'un "Papi qui fait de la résistance" sur l'évolution des choses...Ma fille me "rappelle" souvent que "...je suis d'une autre époque". Fantastisches Video vom Schweizer Krokodil !!!
Die Landschaft sieht aus wie eine Modellbahnanlage. Man sollte irgendwo die ganze Schweiz im Maßstab H0 nachbauen. ^^
+5mnz7fg da musste ich bei 10:35 auch dran denken.
Die als "Krokodile" bezeichneten SBB-Serien Ce 6/8 II und Be 6/8 II bzw. Be 6/8 III waren am Gotthard schlicht zu langsam. Erst der konsequente Einsatz der Ae 6/6-Lokomotiven hat dort die Parallelität der Schnellzug- und der Güterzugtrassen ermöglicht; im Regionalzugverkehr besorgten dies dort ab 1959 die Re 4/4 I-Penedelzüge.

Eine lange und starke Lok wie diese CE 6/8 sollte wirklich mehr als 2 Wagen haben. Das sieht viel besser aus wenn mehr daran gezogen wird.

Warum ist das Krokodil eigentlich seine Rarität? Weil es eine Elektrolok ist aus dem Jahre 1912 ist? Stimmt es wirklich dass der ganze Bahnhof vibriert wenn das Krokodil seine Maschine in Betrieb nimmt

Warum nur zwei Wagen? Will man die Lok schonen, oder gibt es zu wenig Interessenten bzw. Passagiere für diese Fahrten?
I was able to take a quick 3 day rail tour of Switzerland back in December 1973 while I was in the US Army. I found out rather late that I was being sent home on a Christmas Early Release program, which to tell you the truth I didn't really want. I also had a wisdom tooth extraction right before I left and had to be back on base to get the stitches out. So with cotton in my mouth and not being able to eat solid foods I took off for a rail and traction tour stopping off in Schaffhausen (where I cought an AR 6/6, a beautiful engine that I actually had a Marklin model of at one time), Winterthur (photographing trolleybuses, which I also did in Schaffhausen), Zürich ((photographing trolleybuses, and trams under the Christmas lights), and Basil (They still had some of those old 2 axle trams and trailers at the time). I'd love to have photographed an SBB Crocodile but the only one I saw was on the ready track in Zürich. It was too far away to shoot and I didn't have a zoom lens at the time and I didn't see any way to get close. I would love to go back to Switzerland before I die. It's a very beautiful country.
