@@takeapart I use a Nitecore NB10000 battery velcro'd onto the back with a mini cable connecting the HackRF, it has a power button and battery indicator on the battery. 😁 The LEDs are super annoying when you don't need them.
ah I see ...in your case it will be great to get rid of the LEDs , but other users may want to have them .... maybe just dark tape would solve your issue.
