Ohhhhh!! I love that beautiful floral piece that hangs on the wall! And the little crock is so precious!!! It's such a joy to my heart to watch your videos! I took 3 weeks to look at ALL your past videos.... ALL OF THEM! I was kind of sad when I got all caught up, it was great watching several a day! You know, other thrifters don't show their shopping trip! Just a clip or two for a few seconds in the store, then a haul - and they don't show how they STYLE hardly anything in their homes! I'm totally spoiled after finding you and Elizabeth, and the family!!! I got so excited to see Elizabeth and her friends today! And I'm so looking forward to watching the babies grow up!!! I don't have a home of my own anymore, I live with family now. And my few remaining treasures are in storage. *The miniature butter churn is my favorite 😍 - it's just missing the dasher. A dasher is just a wooden dowel with an ✖️ at the bottom. Your husband, Larry could cut the handle off of a Dollar Tree toilet plunger and brad nail or use a kreg jig and screw 2 pieces of wood at the bottom of the dowel in the ✖️ form to make you a dasher for your little butter churn so it would be complete. Would be nice for your decor, and pretty easy to accomplish. 😉 BTW, bundt pans of all sizes make great pumpkins and gourds for the Fall. You can find them in Harvest Gold, Avocado 🥑 Green and sometimes even in an orange 🍊 color called Persimmon. If not, just spray paint and embellish them with a stem from your yard, a few Fall leaves and a bit of pip berry garland. 😀 Voila‼️* *For the upcoming 4th of July holiday, your Thermos' would look great with a wide, tri-colored red, white and blue "collar" or band of ribbon secured flat around the middle (so the stripes are horizontal) of the Thermos and some USA 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 flags tucked into the taller one (like it's a vase) on top of your refrigerator❣️😉😜🙃❤️🤍💙*
Julie, the wooden holder piece you picked up, I think maybe for salt & pepper shakers, I found one here and bought for $1 and then ordered amber glass hand soap, lotion, sanitizer dispensers and vintage labels and use in my powder room for holding hand soap and sanitizer. (I actually bought plastic ones, because of my grand babies!) So cute!
Hi Julie. Thank you for mentioning where you shopped, the name and location too. I love to shop at different church resale shops. It helps support different missions they have. I have one close to me that the proceeds go to their pregnancy crisis center. I always find gently used items. I hope the kids are enjoying being out of school. I live in the DFW area of Texas. We have had quite a bit of rain and severe thunderstorms. It's hot and humid during the day and stormy at night. My dog hates the thunder and high wind. She gets her exercise running through the house and barking. In some areas in the metroplex they got 2 inch hail! Crazy weather! Thank you Julie for showing us your treasures. I can finaly display my old kichenutensils , sifeter and strainer gorgeous canisters Love the stepladder! When I saw the picture, I said to you that you should get it and put it in your master bedroom. I’m so glad you heard me all the way from South Carolina! As for the crock, my first thought was that it was a mini butter churn. You could go to the dollar tree and pick up a new plunger. Get rid of the plunger attachment and just use the handle. Then it would indeed look like a mini churn. It would look good in your kitchen or on your fireplace hearth. Love your videos!
You never disappoint with you thrift goodies. For vacation this summer we are going to Utah to visit Arches National Park and spend time with some of our adult children that live in Utah. We are excited.
Summer vacation this year....hopping on the Harley and riding cross country the end of July through Labor Day. Real routes and scenic byways, 7 years ago we did 10,113 miles from Massachusetts to California and back
The oval picture you bought is contemporary but they are made in the manner of the old flue covers, people used to take their heat stoves out in the spring and summer to free yp floor space and there would be an open hole where the flue went into the wall so these little pretties covered the holes until it was time to put the stove back in the cold weather. O actually have my grandmothers she used it is hanging in my kitchen, it is old and it is a basket of cherries...
For the bunds pan, I paint them a burnt orange color with a dark brown dry brush to distress a little, put reindeer moss in the middle with a piece of thick twig in the reindeer moss for the stem. It is so cute. Just an idea.
Miss Julie, if you want that butter churn to have a stick, you should get a toilet plunger from dollar tree and stain the wood and cut to the right length

At the moment, I’m celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary in Disney World , and so far, it’s so hot! Even the locals said it’s exceptionally hot for this time of year! In England where I live, the weather was cold in the morning and evening, but warm in the afternoon. BUT, they’re experiencing hot weather over there now, in the upper 80’s, which is unbearable, since a lot of homes( mine included ) don’t have air conditioning! Anyway, my dad had the same thermos ( with the red lid ) he would put his coffee in and take to work, or when he would go fishing. Love your finds and your ideas. I have the same red tinned Bundt pan, still looks as good as new and makes nice cakes.
We took our vacation during the 1st week of May. It coincided with our 20th wedding anniversary. We went to Kalahari Resort in Roundrock, TX. They have the largest indoor water park in the country. My kids ages 13, 12, and 8 loved it. We will definitely be going back next year.
I would so buy that Victorian chair! Spray that bundt pan with some clear satin so no more paint comes off! That oval picture with chain is a reproduction flue cover!

I live in the Texas panhandle & we've been inundated with rain. Flat, dry Amarillo flooded, people lost their houses & businesses. It is so weird. It started a couple of weeks ago. I live south of Amarillo & we have gotten about 17" of rain which has been a blessing since we've been in a drought so long. Last night there was a bad storm with tornado clouds, grapefruit size hail & 80 mph winds.

Love love love the thermoses and that beautiful red chippy Bundt pan❤ I can see so many uses… definitely Christmas but what about in the summer, style those thermoses with some of your picnic baskets 😁 and the pan would look amazing styled for July 4th, use some blue transfer-ware plates, some white pitchers or creamers and put in some flags and “Voila” a beautiful display ❤ I live in a small… Honea Path,SC where everybody knows everybody 😝 It’s located in the “upstate” of SC but I’m originally a BAMA girl! The weather is warm and humid! But we’ve actually had mid 80’s (perfect weather) last week and a bunch of storms this past weekend! Next month, we are going to St Augustine, FL camping (we have a big 5th wheel, NO roughin’ here, really more like glamping 😄). We go with 4 other families and 2-3 or 4-5 of our grown children and their families! We have a blast and have made so many wonderful memories 😀

What a bargain you got on the Thermoses totally agree with you on setting your own price budget. I happily pay a bit over the budget expectation for vintage stock in new condition (tablcloths with no stains, rips or moth holes for example are rare finds here) but for items which are around all the time or overpriced I would also wait.
I bought a blue strip crock at Goodwill the other day for $3. Someone had painted something floral on it, but some orange essential oil and some scrubbing took it right off. I can't wait to decorate with it. Hope you share how you style it.

Hey, Julie! Love to shop with you! Thanks for taking us along! Today was the first day of a new chemotherapy treatment. Found out that the cancer in my back caused a fracture of one vertebrae. Surgery may be the only solution. Kinda nervous, but with Gid and all of the orayers from your subs, I GOT THIS!

Love love love the thermoses and that beautiful red chippy Bundt pan❤ I can see so many uses… definitely Christmas but what about in the summer, style those thermoses with some of your picnic baskets 😁 and the pan would look amazing styled for July 4th, use some blue transfer-ware plates, some white pitchers or creamers and put in some flags and “Voila” a beautiful display ❤
I live in a small… Honea Path,SC where everybody knows everybody 😝 It’s located in the “upstate” of SC but I’m originally a BAMA girl! The weather is warm and humid! But we’ve actually had mid 80’s (perfect weather) last week and a bunch of storms this past weekend!
Next month, we are going to St Augustine, FL camping (we have a big 5th wheel, NO roughin’ here, really more like glamping 😄). We go with 4 other families and 2-3 or 4-5 of our grown children and their families! We have a blast and have made so many wonderful memories 😀

What a bargain you got on the Thermoses totally agree with you on setting your own price budget. I happily pay a bit over the budget expectation for vintage stock in new condition (tablcloths with no stains, rips or moth holes for example are rare finds here) but for items which are around all the time or overpriced I would also wait.

I bought a blue strip crock at Goodwill the other day for $3. Someone had painted something floral on it, but some orange essential oil and some scrubbing took it right off. I can't wait to decorate with it. Hope you share how you style it.
