Yes. I remember when I first try to change a lock. I was so afraid to take the panels off. I didn't know if I was able to put it all back together. Now I can do it with my eyes closed. Lol
Thank you. I was debating whether or not to post the video because the Chevelle came out looking pink. It's supposed to be Chevy Orange. Under certain lighting, like that day. The car came out looking a weird pink. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best
Harry, Does the rubber flap on your 68 Chevelle's vent window go inside the door or does it hang over? Talking about the outer side of the window/rubber seal? Thanks
Hi Wayne. I will have to check tomorrow. I am away this evening, can't get to the Chevelle till tomorrow afternoon. If you don't hear back from me by 6:00 tomorrow leave me another comment. I'll run out and take a look.
This is my email . Send me a picture of your vent window so I know what you're talking about and tomorrow I'll send you one of mine. harry.k.adventure@gmail.com
Hi I have a 69 chevelle the door lock was not opening. I don't have that attachment from the lock to the door. Do I need a whole new lock? also you said you went to go get your lock re keyed. So Can I keep the same key that i have with a new lock? Because the key that opens the door also starts the car. Thanks
It should be a little clip that holds the rod to the bracket that unlocks the door. As for the key you can rekey the lock to accept the key. There's a place out here by me that does that. I don't know where you live. find a reputable Key Shop. They will help you. Let me know if this helps. All the best
Thanks for video, I have a 68 chevelle first car build ever and I built this thing from videos like yours and others. Thanks for contributing to us garage build guys
