I think he looked like he skates regular honestly. At 6:09 he instinctively stanced regular and looked comfortable with it, but when he switched to goofy right after it looked awkward. Either way if that's Aaron's son, that's some good parenting right there. The kid is very attentive and looks like he actually wants to learn. Any other kid would've just been running around not paying attention. This is awesome!

I think he could push and get on himself, but always wants to hold my hand like the kid in this video. Still, he's already years ahead of when I started so not in too much of a rush.

You should have let him try pushing regular too. He only decided on goofy when he was standing still for like 2 seconds and kids don't really think about it. I think he's a natural regular because he kept moving his pushing foot up to the front instead of behind, like he's pushing mongo.

you guys are so lucky. when I go to the skate park there are like 50 people at the skate park. the only place we can skate is out of town so by the time we get there it's packed
We read them, trust me. We are trying to get the skate God back on the board and working on his video part haha. Funny thing is we make a video with him and then hardly anyone watches it. I am working on making all the series more clear with numbers etc so they are easier to follow. But yes let's get the skate God series going again!

I think this is a perfect way for a child to start out skateboarding, It's how I started when I was about that age but this was years ago when I rode the big wide square tailed bullet shaped board which obviously I struggled to ollie as time went by.... BUT as I started on my knees I eventually naturally progressed to standing up like a surfer would on the waves and I had my overall control of cruising down and I was ready to start performing tricks like boneless, no-comply and curb ollieing - I wish this kid good a good future in this beautiful pass time :)
