  • One of the most popular F1 racing game back in 2000s, a little bit demanding for hardware.
Tested on intel UHD i3-1115G4 Laptop
    Maxed Graphic Settings at 1366x768p
    FPS 50-60
at the beginning of pressing the record button on fraps, it dropped to around 43fps, but without fraps recording, the game runs quite smooth 50-60fps.

Dang. Your uploading F1 Challenge - Basicly the first F1 game I played on PC. And im uploading all Codemaster early F1 games.
F1 Challenge is by far a more competant game.

Hi, yes. I think Codemaster F1 has improved a lot in F1 2018 onwards, and the new season F1 22 game has completely different control style. Codemaster F1 2020 is still my favourite.

yes, I should've given more information on the description, with fraps recording, it really drops to 30-40, but without recording screen it's around 50-60, I don't know why the recording really affects the performance in this game. Also the processing of video editing might have caused the final video as well :D Thank you for the comment, appreciated.

@@nikovirtanen I have a few tricks that you can try to give you 60fps: 1 - When you play the game and want to record...with FRAPS 😖 Use an *external HDD or SDD* to record your fraps videos to, which should give your system a bit more framerates during recording, Don't use the same SDD/HDD upon which your game and Fraps is installed to record the game! 2 - If you have an *Nvidia* graphics card, use nvidia's own built-in recorder (shadowplay)! Although it can have a reduced quality (which YOU can determine) you'll definately higher framerates than 30fps!

@@nikovirtanen I understand how you must feel having your videos not playing at 60fps! I had that problem too in the past! So I did some research and...also upgraded to a better PC!

actually the point is just showing what the laptop can do and to show audience general picture of what they can perform :D@@tzeffsmainchannel
