Thanks for the magnificent extremely helpful videos. Just brought the DOMINION 6 again after refunding it on launch day due to my inability to fully understand the ui. After a few weeks of my conscience nagging at me calling me a ungrateful spoiled child for not really giving it a chance especially after having enjoyed DOMINION 5, with your excellent videos at my disposal plus it launching on my birthday i finally relented ha ha.
    Cheers most influential one ☕

I think I've mostly figured out first turn stuff, but this has been useful in things like the fact that terrains tend to have the same units in them, will be easier to account for once I learn.

except when you get that rare one... once you see it, you can guess well enough, but if you blind expand you could end up running into a titan or more commonly some mages (mages can still be hidden due to being far fewer than the troops, but titans and monsters are usually mentioned specifically in the scout report, look at throne provinces as examples for both cases as they allways have mages and sometimes titans)

Later take undead swamp (last step swamp) so you can attack water provinces maybe with a ring of water breating, water provinces are excellent for overall income

16:58 it's not new, that's the same as in Dominions 5, Lucid does that all the time, so it's hard to forget when having watched a few of his series

I think another good Starting race(Like you have in this vid) is frost Giants. Im playing EA I believe and they roll over all the Independants. They also spread Cold and turn their provinces that way so If you are playing against foes like the Lizards they really have a hard time attacking your provinces. My God is the Dominion 3 huge frost giant that i use in my doom stack army

Not sure why after all these years you always avoid blood magic. It's no more difficult than site searching but you get blood slaves instead of gem income. It's something a new player can easily comprehend and should be covered.

It is slightly more complicated than you are putting it here. Blood magic requires blood hunting, which requires patrolling to keep unrest down, as well as an understanding of how the sabbath mechanics work.

I also still avoid blood magic after few years of playing, when I use it it's mostly from sites or otherwise low bloodhunting in provinces with labs and Fata Morgana up, I even did a wish based blood "economy" once, also in my Nifelheim, first play of Dominions 6 I've noticed that my blood hunters regularily had assasination battles with pesants opposing the abduction of virgins (had to do it for Illwinter, Srati are OP in that regard, but lowly blood 1 humans could easily die 1vs4), point is blood was somewhat difficult and very annoying to manage before and it didn't get any better, also due to the devaluation of provinces from sustained and heavy bloodhunt, I couldn't play those max potential blood strategies, gaining twenty bloodslaves per province per turn is nice in theory, but when there is no notable province left after a few turns it becomes bad in practice (at least for me)
