These kindle fire 7's are an AMAZING tablet for the money. They have a powerful processor for the money, and are built tough. But WHY CAN'T I INSTALL ALL OF THE NORMAL ANDROID APPS??!! Well good news, you CAN!
I am using these in particular, for Square Point of Sale
These instructions for the 9th Generation (ALL NEW) kindle fire only. This is because 2 out of the 4 apps to install listed here are specific only to the 9th gen newest, running FIRE OS 6.X
For those that like to read how to do it in the description, here is what you need.
Step 1: Go to the settings on your kindle fire 7 and go to Security and enable installing apps from unknown sources. This will let us install the apk's we download from the internet
Step 2: We need to install these apps IN THIS ORDER
Links are shortened on purpose using bitly links because no one wants to type in a gigantic URL on their kindle in that crappy browser lol
1) Google Account Manager** - bit.ly/2wA5sBI the last letter is a capital i
2) Google Services Framework** - bit.ly/2JKI6NW this one also has capital i
3) Google Play Services - Get the newest version bit.ly/2QnOUU6
4) Google Play Store - Get the newest version bit.ly/2CWFmMl last letter is a lowercase L
** means that you must download the correct one for the version of android you are running. At the time of this video, Fire OS 6.X is android Nuget 7.1 so use the URLS i have above because those work
You can download the newest version of the google play services ang google play store

After about 4 days of messing with this stupid tablet, I finally figured it out thanks to this video! I will add this caveat - start by completely factory resetting your tablet and making sure that the SD card is removed. Then go through each step as outlined by TheKMZ1 and sign in to Google. It will give you the same "Checking info" screen of death, but bear with it and it *should* work! It did for me anyway. Thank the Lord. I was about to send it back...

What happens after you install all of them nothing happened?
I had the same issue initially (Fire Tab 7). It was because one of my installation was not proper. Please make sure that you are NOT installing any of the apks that are meant for 64 bits (it will have a 64 in its file name). Also, make sure that you get nodpi version. If you screwed up everything like me, go to settings and perform a factory reset & follow the steps once again carefully. Im sure you will get it working
Thank you my problem was that after I downloaded them I assumed they installed so I had to reset it and download then installed immediately after each individual step so that way it was an order.

I'm so glad this exists and WORKS! Kindle fire 7, January 25th 2020, I confirm this still works. There's some oddities I had to fix but got it to work and even downloaded chrome right after to test it out.
Be sure to INSTALL the downloads, I accidentally overlooked that which caused me to be stuck on the "sign in" part, tapping that with no response. Restart the app and device, for good measures. I had a few errors like "try again later" or "connection error", just close the app and open it again
I'm doing my now, I made the same mistake as you the 1st time, hopefully the 3rd time I'll figure it out lol
It still didn't work for me I restarted the tablet but it was still saying connection error in the play store
I was worried about replacing my high-end older oasis with this one ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCgPI5O2AtmcHq9SJhgsCGbpAzJAJfrJp but it is surprisingly light and the screen resolution is just as good. I never had the warm light on my old kindle, but i do not use it on the ipad so I will probably not need it. I think the only thing I'll miss is the self-adjusting light, but this is so worth it!

WonderMusume , What took a while about that particular step? I’m going to do this tomorrow and I would like to avoid any problems I can. I’d like to hear what you have to say so I can get past this step with ease
Quay McQuitter the first play store i downloaded was a “360dpi” for android tv and It’s wrong. And in his video he said it had to be “nodpi” so I had to look for a google play store that said “nodpi” in its description. Just make sure to read what exactly you are downloading.
Warning: make sure you do NOT have an SD Card installed before you follow his instructions. I followed his instructions step by step several times, and I could get Google Play to work 1 time, then I would get a message stating that I had to update Google Services Framework for my Google Services would work. I then saw on another site that gave the same instructions and links, that stated to make sure you do not have an SD Card installed while following these steps or the files might get stored on the SD Card and not work. I dismounted my SD Card, and followed the instructions again, then reinstalled my SD Card, and now everything works great.

@@WinserEspinal I'm not anymore. You have to install the google play services first and then the play store. Then press "sign in" and wait for about a minute

Got my wife a Kindle Fire by her request, didn't realise they didn't have the Google Play Store (not really tablet guy, I build PCs). I just purchased a Fire 7 for my daughter and had the most trouble finding the proper apks to get play store. By following this tutorial (downloading and installing them in the correct order, making sure account manager and framework were the same versions, nodpi, etc.) I FINALLY have play store on her tablet, and I'm able to reinstall all over favorite apps and games again. Just...THANK YOU!!
Do you happen to remember which services and play store versions you loaded? I feel like I've tried half a dozen with no luck.

Your instructions are superb. Everything came together fine, but when I started Google Play Store, it wouldn’t recognize the finger touch on the screen. It turns out that I had loaded a down level version of play services. The one I had was for android version 6, but my Fire has 9 installed. After the fix, everything works fine. The first thing I did was to load Google Chrome. What a relief. Thanks !!!!
Extremely useful video with clear step by step instructions I'll be referring back to in the future. It took me 4 tries before it worked. My issues were all related to actually trying to sign in to the play store. I kept getting caught in loops of errors, and one error would kick me right out of the sign in screen. Thanks to reading comments, there were some things I could try. First, I removed my sd card. Still didn't work. Then, I factory reset the tablet. Still didn't work. Finally, I factory reset again, plus instead of choosing the latest updated files, I chose the next one down from each list. This was the magic combination for me. I'll still have 2 tablets to go once I give them as gifts. If you're having problems I suggest reading through all the posts and comments, and just keep trying!

Thank you!!! It worked just fine. You have to update the play service portion of the app through the play store once everything is downloaded and installed. Easy update. I was having an issue before I found your video because of the fire 7 update, which was no longer compatible with previous APK s that I had installed.

Tip: You can open all 4 links on separate tabs instead of having to type in each of the 4 URL links. First, watch this video from the Kindle Fire tablet you're doing this for then click and hold down on each of the 4 links provided in Step 2. A small window will pop up and select to "Open in new tab." This will allow you to have each of the 4 URLs on separate tabs so you can download each one, delete that tab, and move onto the next one without having to remember or type in the URL. I kept trying- one time when I got to the third file I did not take the most current that had a note next to it of Android 4+, but I went back in time to a file about a month or so ago that had the note Android 6 next to it. I installed that, then the 4th google play store file and it worked. - Go figure, I have no idea, but again, I thank you for taking the time to post this information. very generous.... God Bless.

Follow up - this is confirmed working. To answer the variant question just make sure it's the newest play services for Android 6+ nodpi and everything works. Thanks for the upload dude. I'm typing this from the Google RUclips app on my tablet btw

Thanks. I thought this was going to be complicated, but it was super easy to do. I only struggled on the 3rd task or download because I didnt find a recent update. After installing a few different play services, I updated the second and now it works like a charm. I've been eager to download book apps on my kindle.

100% works, you have to have patience and keep relaunching the app in order for all the services to update themselves to current firmwares and all is good. I really appreciate it sir, easy sub. Looking for to more of your content

Just follow the video exactly do not be lazy going to the youtube app and tapping the links to the resources, it won´t work, you need to open the silk browser and type the first two URL´s then just do as he does in the video, I really appreciate it.

FYI - the downloaded files need to be installed in the same order they were downloaded - but w/in the Docs file manager on the Fire - they are listed in REVERSE order, because the most recent [ last ] download is on top . . . so to install them in the correct order you'd have to install them from bottom to top. [ I made this error - had to uninstall Google Play - then reinstall the files in the correct order. Then everything worked ok. ] I did this on two Fire tablets, a HD 6 4th Gen and a HD 8 8th Gen ~ Nov 2019

Wont let me sign in. Nothing happens when I click on sign in. I have the latest apk for the play store. Im getting frustrated
I had the same issue today. What I did was I went back and installed each separately in the order downloaded after I downloaded them all. Eventually after 2 restarts and reopening the app, it started working.
I downloaded each link. But he doesnt say to install them straight away. Got to play store and the sign in button doesnt work. I then installed one at a time but still the sign in button doesnt work at all in the play store
