Swap Force is overhated by a majority of the Skylanders fandom. I mean, I honestly don’t fully understand why people consider this one of the “Worst Skylanders games of all time.” I honestly feel like Vicarious Vision’s development on this game’s graphics and such is a MASSIVE improvement over SSA and Giants, and to a bigger extent, Trap Team. Imaginators may be the worst Skylanders game, but there’s still good elements about it. While I do agree that Imaginators is the weakest Skylanders game ever; in terms of many things such as a bad story, some lackluster levels, not much variety of bosses, no new music, etc. I also feel very sad that these bad elements overshadow the good elements. I for one actually loved the character creation system, cause it gave so much variety for anyone’s imagination (although the human faces should’ve been developed better). Secondly, I actually liked how some of the Core Skylanders were involved in the cutscenes and main story, and I feel like that’s an element that should’ve been incorporated in the past Skylanders games if not for the whole “Toys to life” gimick, because it would’ve helped some of these Core Skylanders, especially Spyro, feel more involved in the story. 5. Skylanders Academy and Ring of Heroes are not as bad as The Skylanders Fandom makes them out to be. Yes they may have their flaws, but I feel like almost no one gives these things a chance because of these flaws. Skylanders Academy is actually a fun and interesting series, despite some story elements being different from the original games. And I really love how this series gave Spyro his own story journey of trying to find out more about his dragon ancestors. And Ring of Heroes actually had a very amazing concept of The Portal Masters coming to Skylands to help out, and their human designs look a LOT better than the human parts from Imaginators. 6. I disagree that Skylanders “shouldn’t get a reboot/remaster.” Because if in the right hands, we’d actually get an improved Skylanders remastered collection, minus the Toys to Life gimick. I don’t mind the graphics for the wii Swap force ive been dealing it for 6 years and I’m using my wii for swap force to max upgrades for all of my skylanders
Nowadays, I feel like if Skylanders was rebooted, the target demographic would be kids 6-10, but the people that would actually be buying the most things would be people 12-20 who are nostalgic.
Kinda dum as the people that was playing it 10 years ago. Are now 10 years older so late teens or early twenties. Kids now don’t know that much about those game and if they make the game kiddy then the remains fans wouldnt care
Imagine if Sprocket got a Supercharger form and was better 👊😔 Also I like Cross Crow and while I think making up a move set for him wouldn’t be too difficult but idk how he’d fit.
1:35 I would maybe agree if the arguments were actually good, but, graphics and gimmicks ? I guess graphics is a fine argument, and my Nintendo player status just came in clutch for me to disagree with that, but, the lack of gimmicks, really ? Doesn't a game just need to be fun ? And the later games, especially Superchargers and Imaginators, are often considered to have much more bland level design than the first games. Edit : Also, the skylanders themeselves would have been a much better argument, since it's definitely a place where the skylander games just did better and better with it over the games.
If they make a Skylanders reboot, just make it not toys to like, and have you start with a base roster, unlocking more characters through challenges and achievements. Y'know, like most Lego games
Trap Team is the best game in the franchise. Great gimmick, fantastic story with pretty cool boss fights. Sprocket is too overhated, her top path upgrades and soul gem ability are fun to use. I prefer the design of the Chompy in Swap Force than the other games. Skylanders should be rebooted but exclusive to the Switch. Anyone who calls Tree Rex overrated is wrong SSA and Giants have mid-tier graphics.
Imaginators is a bad game, there are some good aspects of it but i feel like the bad stuff overshadows the good, and also it was probably the most expensive of the games ever made, I wasn't able to and still haven't been able to get 1 sensei of each element because of the prices.
That’s actually quite a popular opinion rather than an unpopular opinion. And I honestly feel very sad that a lot of Imaginators’ bad stuff overshadows the good stuff. The character creation concept was very unique along with the Senseis (even though some of the human parts’ designs were pretty ugly). Some of the Core Skylanders actually being apart of the story and cutscenes, while not entirely entertaining due to the lackluster story, was very interesting and I honestly wish they incorporated this element earlier in past Skylanders games because it would’ve given Spyro and Co more involvement in the stories of the games instead of putting all the cutscenes’ focus on the helpful NPCs (i.e. Flynn, Hugo, Cali, etc.) I’m not saying they’re bad characters because they’re very good characters, but I honestly feel some of the playable heroes should’ve had more involvement in the story/cutscenes of all the pre-Imaginators Skylanders games. If they did do that I feel like the following characters would’ve made the perfect main playable cast; Spyro, Cynder, Gill Grunt, Trigger Happy, Stealth Elf, Eruptor, Pop Fizz, Jet-Vac, and Roller Brawl. And while not all the levels were all that impressive (especially with Fizz Land being the worst level in the game) there were multiple good levels too. The good main levels include Mushroom River, Sky Fortress, and The Golden Arcade. The good bonus levels include two of the Mausoleum of Madness bonus missions (more specifically the find Blobbers and find the artifact missions because of the atmosphere of both versions of the mausoleum) and some of the Sensei Elemental Realms such as Light, Dark, Fire, and Water. And in all honesty, The Adventure Packs are the best levels in Imaginators, especially Cursed Tiki Temple, Enchanted Elven Forest, and best of all, Thumpin Wumpa Island.
@@Sorcerer-SMC do you think I have Imaginite mines? A lot of the good stuff in this game is blocked from me, I only have like 4 imagination crystals, and like 6 Senseis, the figures are ridiculously expensive and I can buy multiple other different skylanders just by getting any Sensei, I will admit a lot of these levels are ok and some of them are pretty good but without the required stuff this game just feels empty. There's little to nothing to do in terms of post game content and the stuff you have is the same handful of missions you've done before, the Racing mode makes the stuff you bought in Superchargers basically useless, the imaginators are way too weak for what they're supposed to be and it gets to a point where you only just keep getting the same parts you've had before instead of anything new. If that's happening the only way to get something remotely new is buying an imaginite chest which I refuse to do. This game is possibly one of the most soulless games I've ever played, and I've played Security Breach. Not to mention the downright stupid choice of not being able to reset creation crystals. And yes I know that there is a way reset them with Nintendo consoles but I can't just spend 100+ dollars on a console just for a glitch. Even if I was able to afford all of this stuff it's not like it would be easy to find either. I especially think the Senseis aren't that good either, they do have some of the best designs ever and they can be pretty strong but there's something about the game that makes it feel wrong to even use them, which makes me switch out for a skylander from a different game. This game was the nail in the coffin for this wonderful franchise, the only good thing to come out of this game was Skylanders Academy
@@rtofthe_dead I never even mentioned Imaginite Mines (my least favorite Adventure Pack) in the list of Adventure Packs I listed. Also, Skylanders Academy didn’t directly “come from this game”. Sure the game may have had some elements of The Netflix series and vice versa, but the Skylanders Academy series was planned LONG before Imaginators. Also, in my previous comment, I did mention Imaginators had MULTIPLE good things to come out of it other than The Netflix series, and I’m not going to repeat myself cause that would take a lot of my time and would also be annoying. However I will admit that there are lots of things in Imaginators I do hate, for example the lackluster story as I’ve mentioned before, not being able to reset your creation crystals, Chill Bill and Brocoli Guy being even more annoying than they already are when they’re the Arena Battle hosts, The Imaginite Snail trails, Fizzland being pretty much the worst level in Skylanders ever, and the fact that there’s literally NO new music???? So I understand and partially agree with your rage (along with most of the Skylanders fandom’s burning hatred for Imaginators) and that you don’t have much money for Imaginators’ actually good stuff, but at the same time, there’s a few things you said that I want to discuss. First of what exactly makes it “feel wrong to use the Senseis?” And secondly for your “The Imaginators are weak” statement; if by weak as in development, I can agree; but if you mean weak as in gameplay wise-they’re honestly overpowered depending on the difficulty. And in all honesty the REAL nail in the coffin for the Skylanders franchise is The Activision/Blizzard Controversy causing Com2US to no longer renew their contract for Ring of Heroes (which in all honesty, Ring of Heroes was not as bad as many people say it is). NOT Imaginators. Furthermore Skylanders Imaginators, while having a few good elements, was admittedly the weakest and worst game in the franchise. And honestly, if I made a ranking list, here’s how I’d see it 1. Swap Force and Superchargers (2-way tie for having the best graphics in the series) 2. Trap Team 3. Giants 4. SSA 5. Imaginators.
@@rtofthe_deadAlso regarding FNAF Security Breach, yes the game could’ve been a lot better, but it wasn’t entirely Steel Wool’s fault for making it so bad. I mean yes they did develop it, but it was both Sony and especially many of the FNAF fans themselves who rushed Steel Wool for it to come out.
Calling the first game "Spyro's Adventure" was honestly a stupid idea. No offence to the guy, but he and the Spyro-related stuff had no impact on the game nor the franchise as a whole, even Spyro himself is one of the least interesting Skylanders by far. They should have just called the game Skylanders and maybe add a "feat Spyro" or something
We need a reboot with all games and no figures instead you start with starter pack and can purchase others with coins as well as coins being the same throughout all skylanders and games
@@ZaphX796 Unfortunately that’s most of the Skylanders fandom’s personal taste. I respect their opinion, but Swap Force is overhated to the point where it becomes annoying.
Unpopular opinions: Giants and Spyro's Adventure have really ugly graphics, and aged poorly. Skylanders games replaying them as an adult feel too dull and slow. They aren't bad games, but besides the toys, they have nothing going for them. Eruptor is overrated (he isn't a bad Skylander, just has an uninteresting design and isn't fun to play as.) Ninjini gets too much hate. I like Rollerbrawl. Trap Team had a lame gimmick.
1. I definitely agree on that, while Giants was somewhat an improvement in certain parts, I feel like a lot of hardcore Skylanders fans only rank SSA and Giants so high and/or call them “The only good Skylanders games” because of their nostalgia. 2. I agree with certain parts of Imaginators, but despite these flaws, I still enjoy replaying Skylanders nonetheless. 3. Ehhhhhhhh 4. I honestly never knew she was hated, and I agree 5. Yeah, Roller Brawl doesn’t get enough love 6. I strongly disagree!
cHoP cHoP iS tHe mOrE iCoNiC cHaRaCtEr You clearly need some Pokemon in you. You see, you have Gen 6 Pokemon outclass the Gen 1 Pokemon for Pokemon of the year many times since the game came out (X and Y) in 2013 (same day as Swap Force). Infact, this year it was THE PIKACHU CLONE DEDENEE. So long story short, it is dumb to use how iconic a character is as an excuse, and to be honest, he already got 3 FORMS (even though you said you don't like old Skylanders getting forms) and the latter two felt like the SAME THING, coming from someone who got two (Series 2/3) because of double/triple packs. And Roller Brawl isn't bad by any means, she is actually good infact, for a personal moment for preference, I remember beating the last section of Brocks Challenges in Trap Team with her, by myself. TL;DR nostalgia shouldn't dictate your opinions all the time, because if it does, then things won't make ANY sense (seriously, Spyro may fit in with the nostalgia, but not the racer aspect, at this point you should do the designs for Spyro and Chop Chop in SuperChargers if you are going to call the shots). Also you say how Roller Brawl doesn't fit for Super Chargers because of the classics, well Chop Chop WOULD LOOK BAD BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A RACER DESGIN FOR HIM. The Roller Brawl design just flat out works and she in general made the most sense design wise, not nostalgic wise, for a design

Kinda dum as the people that was playing it 10 years ago. Are now 10 years older so late teens or early twenties. Kids now don’t know that much about those game and if they make the game kiddy then the remains fans wouldnt care
Imagine if Sprocket got a Supercharger form and was better 👊😔
Also I like Cross Crow and while I think making up a move set for him wouldn’t be too difficult but idk how he’d fit.
I like imaginators for the switch because it’s the latest skylanders game and kaos goes super saiyan
Flying was only useful in SSA, for when you run out of Water Skylanders, and you need to swim.
Heres the thing if they reboot it how is it gonna work? Will they make u rebuy all the skylanders? Or will they just give u them for free?
Hey could you make the audio on your videos slightly louder
I am getting more skylanders soon im so happy with that
Giants are the strongest skylanders especially in trap team(tree rex can do 400+damage with his laser)
Deja Vu is underrated
Flying should really alter the normal and secondary attacks
My unpopular opinion: trap team was the best of all the games
That's not unpopular at all
Sprocket is a good character
No
No
No
Agreed
Agree
If they make a Skylanders reboot, just make it not toys to like, and have you start with a base roster, unlocking more characters through challenges and achievements. Y'know, like most Lego games
That’s actually a very good idea.
@@Sorcerer-SMC Thank you!
Just got Skylanders giants for PS3 on Christmas.
Superchargers is the most enjoyable skylanders game, despite of the bosses in vehicles
Anyone who calls Tree Rex overrated is wrong
SSA and Giants have mid-tier graphics.
Trap shadow is a good character
fun fact idk if anyone else cares ir like this fun detail but flynn has the same voice as joe swanson and i love that about flynn
11:58 that’s my best friend Colton
8 year old me hated swap force in comparison to SA and Giants
Watch your mouth
Because now Toys for Bob may buff Sprocket really hard in a potential new game
Krankcase is the best doomlander. Change my mind.
Roller brawl > Chop chop
Stealth elf is good, but is severely overated
I got something swap force have battle mode ergo it kinda better for me but everyone has an options
not me skipping through the video to see my comment lmao
Ninjini isn't that bad. Like if you disagree.
And honestly, if I made a ranking list, here’s how I’d see it
1. Swap Force and Superchargers (2-way tie for having the best graphics in the series)
2. Trap Team
3. Giants
4. SSA
I think the light cores have more damage than their oringal counter parts it’s what I thought for years is it ture?
No the only difference is an attack when you place them on the portal
I know but i'm going to test just in case
Giant has better graphic than swapforce on wii
Yeah for sure. Swap Force and Trap Team look like shit on Wii.
I never played the wii so I wouldn’t know i heard that there shit though.
I just got blastertron for Christmas :D
Calling the first game "Spyro's Adventure" was honestly a stupid idea. No offence to the guy, but he and the Spyro-related stuff had no impact on the game nor the franchise as a whole, even Spyro himself is one of the least interesting Skylanders by far. They should have just called the game Skylanders and maybe add a "feat Spyro" or something
I cant play trapteam when my wii is broken😥☹️
We need a reboot with all games and no figures instead you start with starter pack and can purchase others with coins as well as coins being the same throughout all skylanders and games
Gaints veels more spammy than swap fore and trap team
Ign said superchargers had a bland story. I completely disagree. It is the best skylanders story ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For me Giants has the absolute best soundtracks, Spyro's 2nd place, Super 3rd place, Trap 4th place and I really don't like Swap Force Music
There’s nothing wrong with Swap Force music
@@Sorcerer-SMC just my personal taste
@@ZaphX796 Unfortunately that’s most of the Skylanders fandom’s personal taste. I respect their opinion, but Swap Force is overhated to the point where it becomes annoying.
11:47 comment spittin facts
More like just opinions and NOT facts dude.
Most of the superchargers are bad
Swarm is the best giant
Combat mechanics > story
Move animations matter
I judge characters for design
Superchargers good game
Hello :)
1:31 I can name 1 Skylander.
Bad Juju Is The Worst Villian In Imaginators
Missed My Chance, But Who Cares!
The swappers are more costomisable than imaginators.
Unpopular opinions:
Giants and Spyro's Adventure have really ugly graphics, and aged poorly.
Skylanders games replaying them as an adult feel too dull and slow. They aren't bad games, but besides the toys, they have nothing going for them.
Eruptor is overrated (he isn't a bad Skylander, just has an uninteresting design and isn't fun to play as.)
Ninjini gets too much hate.
3. Ehhhhhhhh
4. I honestly never knew she was hated, and I agree
5. Yeah, Roller Brawl doesn’t get enough love
6. I strongly disagree!
My opinion is trap team was the best skylanders game. Many people disagree but i dont care
Nah trap team is also my favourite aswell, its the most popular game out of the 6 aswell.
Eon elites aren’t worth it
super chargers is so over hated smh
it's a fun game definitely better than spyros adventure
Swap force isnt a fun game
Fax my earthly fellow

You clearly need some Pokemon in you.
Exactly. Thank you very much for pointing out why Roller Brawl is a better undead Skylander.
The comment about all dragons should fly is stupid. And the obviously didn’t think it through as camo, zap and bash don’t have wings.
dont know if this is an unpopular opinion but trap team is the best game
wrecking ball is good
Come on Giants has the best music, drill x is the goat
I think that Thrillipede is Flynn and the elf in superchargers turned Flynn in to a bug like what she said when she shrunk the skylander
