It was a similar case with Jack Nicholson in the original too. We can give lots of lectures on how the military to behave, but it is they who actually go out there and face the bullets. A better addressal of their problems would work more than a bland liberal preaching of right and wrong.

But you must also see the way star kids are promoted. Suhana Khan has not even worked in movies but there are articles about her Instagram posts in leading newspapers. Same with many starkids. So blaming the audience is a bit harsh bcoz audience are humans , if you sell a person through his / her Instagram and market them the way it is done , it is difficult to ignore them. To make these films successful financially in India is very big ask. Majority of the audience ( tier 3) is not ready to consume the content with diverse plot and understanding. Only mega cities box office and awards, recognition will be viable to make some kind of money back. This responsibility falls on big producers, who should invest in some indie films even though it may loose money.

In all these movies ranvir shorey is common actor, think of him as all his movie are underatted...😘😘😘
@Shoaib Sheikh i do remember, vinay pathak, rajat kapoor and ranvir shorey were brilliant in that film
I believe those actors who start right from scratch, struggle day and nights are the ones who love ACTING! They are in love with acting, and are genuinely passionate about it. They put their life and soul into it, like Irrfan Khan, Nawazudin Siddiqui, Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpai! That is why they are better than the products of Nepotism.

Housefull 4 was the worst movie I have ever watched..
@Rupa Gupta absolutely
@@komals7026 yes i also feel that
@Rupa Gupta I disagree, housefull 4 was much more entertaining.
Just compare the number of screens and see the promotions. It's. Not just the audience fault. It's also the media which is promoting bullshit. How will people go to watch a movie if they don't even know about it?
I loved Detective Byomkesh Bakshy SO MUCH. It was what prompted me to read the books and I was so pleasantly surprised by the very Indian centric aspects of it (because I'm so used to Sherlock Holmes or Agatha Christie's books).
I was really rooting for further movies and hoping for it to become a franchise but it didn't happen 😔
Sonichiriya talks about real rebels
not who rebel for love and brothers.

for those people who are going to watch citylights ,,,, just a warning this movie will tear your heart apart !!!! watch it with your family !!!
Yes I cried so much after watching the movie. It's a masterpiece but heartbreaking 💔😣
Citylight was remake of Metro Manilla and though well made, pale in comparison with the original source material
I always love when somebody Praise these movies with these cast.. It so good to see someone spreading the light in the right direction..
Thank you man ...❤️❤️
detective byomkesh bakshi was a severely underrated gem, the story is a slow burn.
I watched it in the hall. Didn't like it. The character of Byomkesh Bakshi is nothing like what they showed
I watched byomkesh some years back not knowing many of the actors. I thought the movie was somewhat different from the usual bwood movies and was quite interesting in the way it was made. I don’t normally watch hindi films.
@@deepanshukaulphilip5676 agreed, they aren't similar, i just really like the borderline neo noir version of the epic tv show, along with the unusual direction of dibaker banerjee.

We fail these Gems and so we have no right to fight against nepotism and trash movies.
If we really want Bollywood to improve, WE have to start supporting such movies and watch them in cinemas 💯
Shaurya movie makers tried to portray K K memon's character as a villain.
But ended up making him a hero. 😂
A larger than life figure for RW.
@@ankitpandey2613 but it stands true for all Hindus
It was a similar case with Jack Nicholson in the original too. We can give lots of lectures on how the military to behave, but it is they who actually go out there and face the bullets. A better addressal of their problems would work more than a bland liberal preaching of right and wrong.
Shaurya was Leftist propoganda movie which failed badly.. And gave one of most epic scene
Actually I watched Detective Byomkesh bakshy a week before Sushant's death for the 1st time and was thinking he should try this character one more time maybe but sadly he is no more
Madaari is a masterpiece
IRRFAN man! so good!
May be not (a masterpiece per se, compared to a few others in this list), but a v v fine movie nonetheless...👌
Btw, a great List.. 👍
Especially the confrontation in the end..
The issue is I have watched all of it 😊
And the most upsetting thing is when kadwi hawa released I couldn't watch it in theatre not because tickets was not available but because the show itself was not available the nearest screening was 30km from my home 😢😢
I still remember Irrfan made me cry in that scene of Madaari where he is in hospital post his son's death. Also that dialogue in train : "tum meri duniya mujhse chinoge mein tumari duniya mein ghus jaunga"....Pure talent💙🙏
Yeah man that scene!!! Chills!
True....💯
That scene looked so real.God I cried
Sonchiriya could have done more if it was released more threatre.FYI: it was just released on 600+ screens
I still cry everytime I see the movie Citylights. Though the song in it was such a huge hit, it never came to the limelight. It's got such beautiful acting and such a simple, yet realistic story. A movie which certainly deserved better.

Jabki star kids ko debut me hi 4000 screen milta hai.
Karan johar ki Dharma production, salman khan films, Yash raj flims, balaji flims jaise flims har baar 5000 se 8000 screen leti hai.

people lashing at bollywood, remember one thing u made the nepokids stars. check the collections for sonchiriya its barely 15 or 20crs. but,the stupid judwaa 2, soty2 crosses 100 crores easily. expressionless annoying pandey has 12M followers in insta and talented stars barely cross 1M or 2. lets change ourselves first before blaming anyone...
It is a very unfair advantage that these starkids have though.
True many people don't even know these stars and such movies. Because they are not being promoted properly.

I have watched Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. Goosebumps, it just an amalgamation of the technical brilliance and phenomenal performances by the actors, especially, Sushant and Neeraj Kabi. Though, I have left watching regular bollywood movies but, I have likings for the content driven movies, with exceptional actors, and engaging thrillers. I have seen all the gems like, Dev D, Manorama- 6 feet under, Madaari, Jazba, Bhavesh Joshi- Superhero, Andhadhun, Tumbbad, The house next door, The Lunchbox etc, the list is long. Yes, I am still to witness gems like Sonchiraiya, MKDNH, Shanghai and Kadvi Hawa.

You videos educate me about the technical aspects, the in-depth understandings of a character in a movie, the kind of cinema which the country needs and the audience craving.

This is what the audience need to be reminded right now❤
