Great job on those uphills! I have tried and failed at several places you blazed, awesome! Props to you for showing the failures-- most of my video consists of similar footage, so it's good to see "real life".
I appreciate it! I’m cherry-picking the highlights though, so it’s definitely a curated version of reality. 😂 I have a lot of fun trying to progress though. Happy trails 🤙
This was going the old direction. They switched it about 6-8 weeks ago. I was surprised how different it felt with the flip. Longer uphill technical sections but fewer one-off hard hits.
It’s easy to stay on the main trail and not get lost. Signs are posted really well, including wrong way signs. Bring a hydration pack in case you do get turned around for a little bit. The main trail takes about 30 minutes to an hour depending on your skill level. The start will be at the very front-right once you pull into the limestone parking lot. 🤙
Bro in the agu adventure helmet on the Yamaha needs to stand up. He seems to have really good throttle control so he can make it over those obstacles no problem… if he would stand up. He’s getting bucked by the seat and that throws off his momentum.
I pretty much stand up the whole time at EL, especially on MTB. Ohh, and make sure it's on the balls of the feet and not the arches... Need head coms so the team doesn't have to stop unless there is a reason...
Hey! Nice ride man, where is bro? I’m moving to Austin, would love to know where to ride and maybe even where to rent the bikes and gear before I bring my bike! Thanks
I'm not sure where/if you can rent bikes. If you're into the enduro/singletrack scene, the 3 best places around are Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, CTOR in Salado (private - have to get a sponsor) and Emma Long Motorcycle Park (where this ride was - free to ride, but supposed to have your annual Texas park sticker).
Awesome! I already miss that direction!
Sadly I miss it as well. Rode it twice since it flipped. Still a great place and it’s a shorter drive for me than CTOR and HF. 🤙

awesome! is this going the new direction or the traditional counter-clockwise

Is it easy to get lost in there? Im going alone because i have nowhere to ride but it looks awesome 🤘

Where is this at? I live in waco and would love to bring my bikes out?
It’s in west Austin at the Emma Long Motorcycle Park. It’s free to ride, but you’re supposed to have your annual park pass to ride there.
