  • If you've followed me for any length of time, you know I love producing courses, and more often than not, those courses are in-depth, dense with information, and sometimes massive in size. If you've got the time and attention span to stick with it, some of my courses can keep you busy for months at a time.
But not everyone has the time, or the interest level in any one topic, to repeatedly come back to the same course. For those folks, I"m going to be introducing a new type of content.
Each week, starting in November, I'll be publishing a weekly short-form lesson or challenge. These videos will usually come from one of my larger courses, but they'll be presented as a self-contained lesson, so you don't have to search out the best parts of each course; I'll bring them to you.
These weekly challenges will give you more exposure to a wider variety of courses, and for some of you, it might lead you to THE course you've been looking for but haven't yet found.
If you'd like to participate in the weekly challenges AND have access to my entire library of blues guitar courses, I think you'd love being a part of our Locals community. Join today: texasbluesalle...

I love this! This is actually how I learned my first song. A friend of mine who was a session player showed me a small piece of “Little Wing” each week. He asked me, “if you could learn only one song, what would it be?” I thought he’d laugh me right out the door, but instead he didn’t hesitate. He showed me one little chunk at a time. Each week it was like getting a new present! I had the excitement of showing him how hard I’d worked on the earlier weeks piece, and then attaching the next piece and so on. Later in life I’ve noticed that’s what I often do unconsciously with songs. Just pick a favorite part, and go from there. That’s why I still love your Five Boxes Essential Licks course. One little bite of the elephant at a time!

Love It! RUclips.... is so biased against straight up educational content. Beautifully stated, Anthony! I am still trying my best to educate young guitar players.
