I remember seeing these right when I really got into Legos after only buying them casually as a kid. They look super cool and reminded me of space police three, which I had set when I was small. But I told myself that I could either get a few sets from a lot of other themes are or just have a shit load of Star Wars which I did.

Definitely one of my favorite themes! I have the entire theme except for the Bug Obliterator, Space Swarmer, & Star Slicer which I do have the red bugoid from.
Power Miners, Ultra Agents, Galaxy Squad, Mars Mission, Exo-Force, Alien Conquest, Dino attack, Atlantis, Space Police, Hero Factory and Bionicle will always be legendary.
The Hive crawler was my very first Lego set that I got. And actually the Pod storing mechanism is actually a catapult that can launch the pods so they break open revealing the little insects that are included. This was a very nice set back in the day
This is hands down my fave not evergreen theme! Kind of agree with everything but vermin vaporizer under so many other sets, esp the CLS for me is a crime ahahah
I agree, Vermin vaporiser is my favourite Galaxy Squad build. I just found its aesthetic amazing. Can’t believe it was ranked so low here. Also i actually liked the Space Swarmer. Obviously it is a very small entry set, but I also like how it looks and it is also the best set for giving the feeling that the insect race here are a swarm. I got multiple Space Swarmers for the purpose of adding to their numbers.
heres a think we got three sets and they are the biggest first is the vermin vaporizer i got it second is the bug obliterator my middle brother got it third is the galactic titan my biggest brother has it

I have the Bug Obliterator set it is really cool. It's a shame LEGO doesn't make themes like that anymore

I just don't like the look of the Vermin Vaporizer but I do like the mech.
The only things that survived from this set are Chuck Stonebreaker (which I now use him for the doomguy mini figure) and buggoid alien

The space swarmer is one of my favourite alien vehicles. The only one I like better is the hive crawler
