Englishman Martin Lewis came to Germany 18 years ago on a temporary contract for Steinway & Sons and never left. As supervisor of shipping logistics, he coordinates the packing and delivery of grand and upright pianos worldwide. He is delighted to be part of a company steeped in tradition and be buoyed by personal support - particularly regarding Brexit. Thanks to dual citizenship, he can remain in Germany and continue ensuring that every Steinway finds its place.

I love my Steinway. I nearly fell off my chair what I saw one person tip a grand on its side. Then I saw the fantasy tipping gadget. Regardless, I insist on four people tip my Steinway. Thank you, Steinway!
