Who said she was sacrificing chickens in an African spiritual ritual? Be clear not everyone prays to the same God or spirit. There's so many different spiritual practices out there that have similar attributes but are not the same. That's why you should be careful when you ask someone "to keep you in their prayers" because you don't know whom or what they pray to.
