General Magic - Q&A from the Silicon Valley Premiere

Interview with General Magic pioneers Marc Porat, Tony Fadell, Megan Smith, Susan Kare, Andy Hertzfeld, Bill Atkinson and Darin Adler. After the world premiere of the award-winning documentary General Magic at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, a premiere was held in Silicon Valley for over 850 former General Magic employees, family, friends and press.
For many, the premiere was a long awaited reunion for the creators of the original smartphone. Ending with a standing ovation, the screening was followed by a Q&A with former 'Magicians' and Directors Sarah Kerruish and Matt Maude. Moderated by Christina Passariello of the Washington Post.
Topics discussed included the state of technology and innovation today, the gender parity and work environment of General Magic, and the healing experience of seeing their story on film (tears included).
