It's an awesome car, but that thing will depreciate faster than a fiat multipla.
I hope he finds a 12c, a 540 or even a 570 if he has any luck to find the cheapest 570 ever.
Robert Budila somebody already took the depreciation on R8 if he finds it used under 110k£..new 570S on the other hand will depreciate just like the 12C
Robert Budila kimi88cz 540 is too new to get a used. 12c is good but not as good as the v10+ and its a mclaren which depreciates similar or even worse sometimes. never a 570
r8v10+ is the best value for the range
E55 BæMG value would be a special edition classic for that price
the r8 is going to depreciate a lot, know it is 115k soon 85k
i think we got a new alfista here :D and yes it make sense... you said "it's more the way how it drives" and this is what alfa's are about... in every alfa you get that engine sound or the direct steering or something which makes you wanna drive it... driving and own an alfa is all about the feelings the car gives you! Great video and i hope to see the Giulia (maybe the Quadrifoglio) again on your channel!
btw: DNA in the Giulia means Dynamic Natural Advanced efficiency ;) 4C, Giulietta and MiTo call it Dynamic Natural All weather ;) FORZA ALFA ROMEO!!!

I honestly think R8 v10+ is 2 times the car for money 12c is so old and it wasnt as good as it could have been which mclaren proved them self with putting out a new model barely a year after

Alfa really nailed it with this car. And they needed to. This was financially a very important model for the company.
Just ordered mine yesterday! Went for the Speciale though as that gets the sporty look :) Finally looking forward to something with a bit of character after driving Audis for the past 6 years!
Considering you're just a one man band Sam, I really think you make great videos. Such an easy and enjoyable review to watch, and only makes me want to watch more. Also, on a side note, that Alfa seems a fantastic car for the money.
Fantastic car, only disadvantage is the infotainment system, but it won't distract you from driving which is the best part of an Alfa.
I have ordered one of these. Taking it in for my DS5 SPORT.
I simply love the new Giulia.. Oh if only I had the money to buy one.. I guess around 2022/23....To a guy that just bought that future Giulia that I will own "Please, take care of it, be gentle to her and service it regularly".. Thnx man.

Alfa should send me one of those... My city is at 2600m above sea level, it has some terrible roads and terrible traffic, it rains all the time and at the same time it's real sunny al the time! Perfect place to test a car! :D

I'd really like a review of the new four-cylinder petrol-engined Giulia! That car seems like a very exciting 'compromise' choice: half the price of the QV; high(er)-revving, with (presumably) a better soundtrack than the diesel - besides, ALFAs have always had great four-cylinder, petrol-powered engines!

Does your omega speedmaster have a column wheel from the 321 movement or do you have the slide lever from the 861 or 1861 more modern versions? Your bracelet is an older one so I am not sure what year it is. I have a modern one myself i got this year.

My Alfa 156 SportWagon are already over 10 years old so this one makes a lot of sense in every way but pricing are way higher than my current Alfa was
Considering your reaction to this Giulia Super, the "gentle" Italian girl, you might consider Giulia QV for your "toy car". She's not a mid engine car like the R8 etc but she's pretty fun and, if treated gently, knows how to behave(of course she prefers to be a naughty girl)
Make it your daily and a real super car besides!

I think you will get a lott more views in the giulia Qv then a one of the Cars your mates drive like the Porsche, McLaren etc. This new alfa drawes the interest of manny

The more I see this car the more I like the way it looks. IMHO the base model has a cleaner more attractive look than the QV.
Bet it has a lot of torque too, so will be quick once going.
I still think the same Mclaren 540c is a good bet for new car. Or an F430. Those are my opinions. 👍

been driving italian motors for over 30 years
always noticed that there is a massive difference between left and right hand drive versions - is there a marked difference between them?
historically, the seating/wheel/pedal positions in italian cars were designed for a human that doesn't exist
has the position improved at all?
my 156 had the most awful driving position, then i drove a lhd, which seemed a completely different car.
love alfa, and wish them well.
just hope the build quality has improved significantly, and the dealership network are more tuned into what the customers actually need.
would also be interested to see depreciation numbers, compared to m3/m4, s4, c63.

no it isn't... you can only get Q4 in the Veloce versions... 210PS Diesel or 280PS Petrol ;) there will be an Quadrifoglio Q4 aswell but not yet... ;)
Agree with your take...i too have an Abarth and will not be trading its loud and spunky persona unless I win the lotto and can afford the Badboy Alfa Guilia

I like the interior but it would have liked to have seen the gray trim in black or brown
I love both versions of the car. They look so much more interesting compared to the competition. This one is much more everyday friendly, and the interior really does look great. However, Alfa doesn't have the best reputation for reliability. I think many will stay away because they don't want to risk it always being in the shop.
I am owner of an Alfa Romeo. I can honestly say that the Alfa Romeo is a reliable car
Team Shmo lol that's probably the most outdated view ever. I have 4 alfa's spanning 49 years btw them, no issues. Like any car, they need maintenance.
Alfa Romeo gives you 2 years warranty plus 2 year extended warranty (though I can't tell you if they will just fix it or if they are as picky about it as the German manufacturers). That should cover most possible flaws and even though Alfa owners are quite rare, most of them are happy with the reliability.
The missing reliability dates back to the 60-70s and cars like the Alfasud.
The Alfa I own has a diesel engine. Bought it new, its been 11 years, not a single problem. The petrols on the other hand...lack power torque and have glass internals...
The only thing bad on mine is the interior, it really does not hold long, my seats are sunburned and all the fabric on the door panels started to peel of

Maserati S Q4 or Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio? They have the same feel to me. Probably the turbo V6 thing.
Darius ma brotha....say it ain't so...I own them both and the Maser is a big heavy lumbering so and so with a loud exhaust....the Giulia is like a scalpel...not even close in driving feel....Peace out dawg !!!

Beside it looks from the side view like a 3series, the interieur looks like a last generation Audi (before the full digital infotainment). Bit outdeted already, but nice alternative in the class.
