Hi Kevin...not this video but I'm trying to go chipless on my wf-4730 and I need to order from your site this item SKU:ID30-KCMY-AE It says it comes with a drill but it doesn't say the drill size. Please help with what plug to purchase that goes with the drill. Thank you.
I don’t think so but worth a try. I tried to hook up the WF-3620 MB with WF-3640’s LCD panel and it didn’t work. Very strange. They both use CD 16 MB. 3620 doesn’t have the lower tray FFC (paper feed) and tray trigger. I thought I could just short wire them and make it a WF-3640 board. However, it didn’t work. I ‘ve never had the need for a WF-3620 MB, so I don’t know.
I have a 3620 that blew the fuse. Got a "tested" 3640 board to put in. My thinking was the main difference between the two was the second paper feed. Looking at the two boards, they are both CD16 boards. The 3620 board just doesn't have "hats"(plugs) for CN54,56 or34 that the 3640 board has. So I installed the 40 board in my 20 printer. When turned on, the screen is white like just before the EPSON would normally appear and the blue light flashes. That's all the further it goes. Pressing any button is met with a double beep and no change.
Is there a sensor inside? To cartridge
Not sure if anyone will reponed to this, but i need to know how the little wheel in side the scanner goes on to the rubber piece like chain device?
I cannot get a new ink overflow cartridge to be recognized. Tried with new epsom cartidge, disconnecting printer from mains.
Any suggestions?
What’s your printer model?

Get 3mm drill (large drill) and L shaped plugs.
Will a WF-3640 main board work in a WF-3620?

On second thought, I guess you probably can, if you bring over the 3620 LCD. I will give it a try. Very interesting question.
No, you don’t need a 3620 LCD, because it’s 3640 MB. Sorry, I always work the other way, trying to use 3620 as a 3640.
I am excited about the idea 💡
