    You are honestly the most wholesome person.. I have never subbed so fast in my life when I seen your emotion in the beginning of this video. I love when you said, "don't expect perfection here, this is survival cleaning". I FELT THAT SO HARD. Not all of us have these immaculate homes with all the latest tech, upgrades, etc. It is so refreshing to see a REAL person. You did amazing, by the way.

    Wow this is a fantastic clean and declutter motivation video 💪 I like so much when you film while discarding so much stuff around the house, mostly as I struggle to discard some nicer things like fashion magazines/catalogs/flyers and mostly clothes that can't be donated so I always try to see if you're getting rid of any of those things when I see you filling trash bags like that 😅 When you've mentionned that you've only needed to take out all the trash out before leaving, I was just hoping it would have been filmed too as it's satisfying to see all the clutter and trash leaving the house 🤗

    Can get your boys to help you daily?
    3 to clean up together for 15 mins definitely will complete faster.
    One or twice a day.
    First start with your dirty laundry put into wash machine.
    Next wash your dishes.
    Last is pick up paper or what ever to throw to rubbish bin.
    Vacuum floors.
    Do not make your life too hard.
    Remember eat proper meal and drink water and take your medicines if you have to.
    You are doing great 👍.

    I'm so glad I found your channel again! I too struggle with mental health issues. PTSD, severe sleep disorder, anxiety and depression so I completely understand where you're coming from.     Do it for yourself and the little ones, they need you to not be broken otherwise how will they grow up with a broken mom? Are you taking medicine to help you? If not, please do. I know many people hate taking meds especially for mental reasons but I've learned it could be the difference between a better you and a depressed, inferior and unhappy you.

    You are on the right track! I get overwhelmed too (adhd) so I need to do things by category with a shorter time. 15 minutes per room but 2 minutes per category, (I use the timer on my watch so I don’t have to look at a clock and it buzzes to remind me to stop no matter where I am) 2 min collecting trash/rubbish, 2 minutes collecting dirty washing, 2 minutes sorting toys, 2 minutes clearing one surface table/couch/bed etc 2 min collecting books and paper etc. depending on the room. Once the 2 minutes is up I stop, put away whatever I’ve collected and then start the next 2 min thing on the list. And I do have a list for each room in notes on my phone, to remind me or because I forget. If I finish all the list in 15 minutes, I start again. Kitchen list a bit different, 2 min trash, 2 min fill or empty dishwasher, 2 minutes fill sink with soapy water and wash something, 2 minutes one section of the counter etc (soapy water there already to rinse cloth). Never get it all done in the 2 minutes or the whole room in 15, but it’s better than when I started. Sometimes I even take a before and after photo to prove it helped. I’m old so after each 15 minutes I stop, put the timer on for 30 minutes and rest, or watch u tube, or read. Then start the next 15. I don’t have a lot of visitors so the kitchen and sink are the first room.
    Keep going, if I can still do it at 75, so can you. ❤️❤️

    I turn on my music and go room to room. Set a timer. Every time you leave a room just leave with something in your hand. Clean as you go has always helped me. You go girl! You got this!

      Omg I’m just a hot mess. In a good way! The thing is, I kept my feelings and emotions suppressed for a really long time. Now that I’m on this healing journey, my body wants to release all emotions. Some days I’m so mad that I’m like omg who I am. I was never allowed to feel mad. Or cry. Or anything really. Too emotional. Too much. Too loud. Too mean. My emotions will never be suppressed again! 🤗 I’d love a hug 🫂

    Hi Kristin…. I can totally relate to you in so many ways. I put a lot of things off . I actually think if I can get up and go to work that is something. I put off my household duties alot because of my depression and anxiety and PTSD. So I know where you are coming from. You always have a friend love and hugs. We can do this together.

    😢 i cry and cry while watching your video and related a lot especially when you said you doesnt eat so you cant make more mess. At least you have a great house i live in a rented house when rain my bedroom is full of water inside. And the rent is so high i cant pay for a great house 😢 love your channel and your cats take care

    You did awesome! I have lived in my home for over a year and still have not fully unpacked. For some reason I'm petrified to do it. To make your job easier - before they can do their gaming our kids have to pick up their dishes, laundry, trash and random items. One kid is responsible for taking out the trash and the other the recycling.

      The thing is, I was depressed for a really long time. Without even realizing it. My body was in fight or flight mode. I suppressed all my emotions. Now I’m letting them flow. This is me healing ❤️‍🩹

    Glad to come upon your channel and thanks for being really I too struggle with anxiety and depression, and it’s hard to get motivation in life. (And I’m on medications). And to top it off I’m going through perimenopause and it’s making things harder.
    There is no perfection, in fact I wish that word did not exist.

    Got stuck cleaning. Well not even cleaning yet. I’ve been sorting the mess in my bedroom and sorting laundry for I think at least 2 hours now. 1/4 of the time spent just standing around with a blank stare.. 5 minutes into your video as I’m having coffee and a sigaret, tears come. So I pause the video because I don’t want to cry right now and have a breakdown. But thank you for your candor. I’m going with your first tip of setting the timer for 15 minutes at a time. Then end of the day, I’m going to take a bath or do some HRV breathing exercise. Well, that’s my goal. To have a reasonably orderly and hopefully clean home and then wash off this stagnated energy off and out of myself. And maybe THEN have a cry 💆‍♀️❤️

      Yesterday I got finished really decluttering AND cleaning my bedroom. Beginning of the day I had made a list on my whiteboard
      -bedroom ✅
      -Kitchen
      -hallway
      -living-room 1/3 done
      -toilet
      -bathroom
      When I made that list I really thought I was going to do that whole list in one day.
      But, you know what? I slept so nicely in my clean and organized bedroom last night! It’s a WIN regardless if I wasn’t able to do what I hoped I would. And instead of just checking off my list I wrote a checkmark and yesterdays date behind ‘bedroom’ and wrote 1/3 done with the date behind ‘livingroom’ . I recalibrated where I’m at mentally. And we’ll see what I can get done today.
      My bedroom was the absolute worst out of all the rooms, so..
      Going to set my timer again in a few minutes, breath, put on some music and IN WE GO again ❤️

    What helps me when I clean is to always make sure my kitchen is clean before I go to bed. Some days are easier than others. Plus I have my kids help.also I love the timer idea. Like you said “ Do what you can.@ Depression and PTSD and anxiety are real. Take it one day at a time.

    You sound so like me in the way that you feel. I get so frustrated that I could just like literally scream, the house down because of my anxiety and I could literally sit all day on my couch, doing nothing, but have bad thoughts in my head. when you set that 15 minute timer and went with that that something that I’ve been trying to do is just telling myself do 15 minutes of maybe cleaning my kitchen, my bathroom or something within that 15 minute timer and think to myself I’ve done 15 minutes of something good.

    I at this point right now. Everything is a mess. Things are falling apart around me. I’m working overtime to still not get everything paid. I’m depressed and my house is overwhelming. I thought my divorce would be a new start. It was the beginning of the fall. I feel a failure as a parent, a daughter, sister, aunt, a human being. But through it all. I have to start somewhere and praying God gives me strength to start and keep going like He always has. I can’t just stop like I have for the past two years. Let’s clean!!!

    Getting your motivation back and being able to listen to your body is so good! And I'm amazed at how much you got done, great job! ❤
    I go through that cycle pretty often - my mental health takes a dive, and then my home is neglected because I don't have the energy or motivation. Then I get mad at myself for it, which just makes my mental health worse, and it just spirals like that until I manage to force myself to do stuff. It's exhausting and a struggle to get through, but it feels nice when it's done, even though I don't really feel proud, just kind of meh - it's a learned behaviour, due to never getting praise or being allowed to be proud. I'm working on forcing myself to do the small things every day, so it doesn't get too big and overwhelming.

    So often, having physical pain, 15 min is too long. I can’t work by a timer. Rather I work until the pain comes on, maybe a couple to 5 min at a time. I use tv commercial times.
    I just use little chunks of time, when I can stand myself.
    I’m also one of those, put it back where you got it from so it can be found again.
    When the pain is too much to walk from point to point to put it back, piles or a bin of some sort that I can carry with me works. I believe, if we were honest, most of us work this way, just what we can do when we can do it.
    You’re a beautiful person, please don’t let this world beat you down. Take time for your heart & mind.

    I think you are doing great if 15 minutes is all you can do and then you stop for 15 minutes then that’s ok that’s what my mom does she cleans and has to stop because of her pain and just sit for a few minutes and then goes some more how did you get diagnosed with cptsd I think that’s what you said
