I think the only tank that has really truly makes me mad has been the ItPsV 90. I hit my fist against my solid wood desk with *force* today. Noob mistake. Desk always wins.
I still think that the turm III is still severely under tiered, but it all comes down to compression. It is definitely not a 9.0 worthy vehicle for exemple, but I still struggle to understand how it’s just .3 above things like the Leo 1, amx30, or m48 when it’s better in pretty much every metric except armor. The APDS struggles at higher be, but it still have similar heat, a better 30mm than even the amx30 20mm, and most of all the stabilized 5s reload makes it so much better than the others. The reason why French autoloaded tanks are so good despite their struggling AP penetration (char 25t at 7.7 cough cough) is mainly because of their good reload speed. The Lorraine 40t which is basically the French turm III, sits at 7.7, despite lower ammunition count in the autoloader, much worse ammunition (be it in pen or ballistic), no stabilizer, worse gun handling (rotation speeds, and elevations). In the meantime, the turm 3 sits only 2 br bracket above it at 8.3 when it’s only drawback over the Lorraine 40t is having a slightly longer reload, which is still better than 95% of the enemies you’ll be facing.
Where should it sit then? At 8.7 where everything has APFSDS and a laserrangefinder? The problem is not the Turm III sitting at 8.3 - its that things like the Leopard I shouldnt be 8.0 at all. It was alright at 7.3. The Turm III is not too low, other things were just put too high in comparison to it.
@CrabbyPattyMoox most of the yes but it's Russian. Smart player will hide hull. Darts have tendency to kill a single member. The problem is it acts like AA but still has a dart to almost match HSTVL. It holds 10 BR for a very flexible tank. I have one and know what it can do.
Easily my favorite tank in the game. Bought it almost a year ago now and its fucking great. You are always one shot but the gun depression of its unique ballturret is just so nice for my playstyle.
I went to grab myself the Tam2 ip, because I intend to grind a bit higher than what the turms allows for. I never played light tanks that much. So the first few games werent that good. Seemingly the tam2ip started an invasion at 9.~ and the players are equally questionable. Rarely does one win the OBJECTIVE FOCUSED GAMEMODE in german teams at this br for some reason. The literal only flaw of me buying that tank is that I have to play germany with those special individuals who have seemingly never played one objective focused game. Meaning you can reach top 5 consistently, gain your average 40-100k sl per game with premium and be happy but keep in mind. The players of this faction are weird.
Forgot to mention. I used to main russia with heavies and just recently dipped into germany. It seems like people rush more on objectives on russia than with germany. Also all the jokes about the people who play germany are true, everyone is blind and simply refuses to see an enemy nor the captured points
I think I’ve killed more Turm III players with the M60A1 Rise than any other tank in this BR. Always aim for the turret. One Turm III player accuse me of hacking just because his heat shell didn’t go through my ERA lol

Tbh i like finding turms, that ammo rack is my dealbreaker, way too big. I have to say, people whine and whine and whine about 50 dollars like they are asking your kidneys. I don't earn much money and have a family to tend to, but i can spare 50 bucks for the WT Bday, COME ON!
I lobe fighting turm 3 as well since I been playing my meme 8.3 triple UK SPAA line up and thr ZA-35, Falcon and Chieftain marksman just shred them in 1 shot of AP or Falcon SAP

Don't forget the like 0.5 sec reload that takes 1 round to barrel people or front kill most nato MBTs in 1 or 2 shots even Abrams
