    Thanks so much for posting this video! My AutoWalk handle assembly flew apart when I replaced the cable a few weeks ago. One of the handles seemed to stick and the lawnmower didn’t pull well after I put it back together. Your video confirmed that I had put it together correctly, but in the process of opening it up again, I must have tweaked something for the better - because now both handles pull great and the lawnmower flies!

    Heh!!! I helped my neighbor load up the same mower in his truck and he was taking to recycle as he said he couldn't get it running I asked are you sure you want to trash it? Yep was the reply ,So l asked can l have and I'll take to a local repair shop $80 dollars later and now it runs perfect! It needed a new $ 50 carburetor! 4 wheel drive. Honda 190 mower! I love it!!

      ENJOY IT! Just keep up on routine maintenance…oil changes, deck scraping and it should last you a long time. I got some videos on that!
      You can always sell it for a profit that machines have 1 BIG BELT, 2 drive cables and 2 transmissions $$$ to repair compared to a regular mower.

    I keep one of those double handle controller fully assembled on my shelf just for reference!

    • @pattayperformance
      @pattayperformance  5 месяцев назад

      LOL! How often do you reference it? Side Note: I keep a healdight harness in my toolbox for an Isuzu's handy. Factory is a poor design that overtime the BULB gets so hot and melts the plastic connector and wires. The replacement harness we get that we are suppose to splice in is COMPLETELY different color. LOL I refer back to the speciman in my box to repair it right the first time!

    I have an HU700F and the autowalk drive control closely resembles your model. The cable on my mower had frayed and snapped underneath the deck. Your video was the only thing I found on the internet showing how to replace it.
    Thank you so very much!

    Nice job, those are really nice mowers. Sounds like the tip of blade is striking the deck somewhere, maybe the deck is cracked and it’s flexing when you lift it? Funny seeing Henry at the end!

    • @pattayperformance
      @pattayperformance  4 года назад

      The tip of the blade was striking a bent part of tin under the deck. Just a little love tap and was good to mow!
      Although Henry and I bang heads over practices we still have a very good relationship in which we support each other. Our common theme is small engines, hustle and content are great recipe! Glad to have him around the block. Together we grow!
      For the record as soon as we broke 1k Henry broke his quarantine to swing by with a gift. Due to what is going on, we are choosing not to make a big deal out of it. At this point, we are just counting blessings. Thanks for commenting and stay safe 🇺🇸🦅🔧

    That ticking is a starter acuator . the little teeth that come out when you start your mower. Had that same problem on a troy-bilt mower.. Kept hearing that sound.. Found out it was a weak spring on the acuator .. It would not fully retract.. So it was hitting as it was running..

    Noise sounds like recoil start. When you put downward pressure on handle rope gets pulled causing noise in recoil

      I haven't seen many other AWD mowers and the HU800AWD I bought from Lowe's in 2013 served me well. I still have it and it still works well. Try finding any AWD mower these days including Husqvarna.
