If you have experience with this company, another MLM or essential oils, please let me know in the comments or by finding me here:
    ...
In this multi-part series, I’ll be talking about my personal experience working within the company, how I was trained, what resources I was given, as well as digging in to the “rumors” and lawsuits surrounding the company.
If I sold you essential oils in the past, I want to publicly say, I am sorry. I did not do the research prior to signing on with this company. I believed what I was told and turned a blind eye to the research that was readily available to me.
Please do not ingest essential oils under any circumstances unless you’re working with a qualified, certified aromatherapist. Wellness advocates are not knowledgeable on how these plant concentrates will interact with your body, your hormones or your nervous system. If I gave you any health advice, please follow up with your healthcare professional.
please be aware that just because something is natural does not mean it’s not toxic. ANYTHING in too high of a concentration is toxic. Essential oils can cause serious issues. If you do use them, use them with caution, proper dilution and NEVER consume them internally without proper guidance.
I do not endorse or sell these products anymore.

Nice video! I am lucky that when I started essential oils in 2020, I fell in with the right crowd and i didnt even know what an mlm was until months later. I am so sorry you have gone through this but i am so happy you are telling the truth! This kinda stuff is why I got certified because 99% of the info out there is bad and unsafe and i was so confused i decided to go to school for it. I am so happy you are not corrupted any longer!

I absolutely love that there are legitimate ways to get educated and even certified in things like this!!! I know aromatherapy can work WONDERS but companies like this kind of ruin it for everyone, especially those who have a background and a licensed business practice. I’ve slowly started using some oils again, but definitely not the same way I was in the past and not near the amounts!

Thank you for your video, it’s been increasingly insightful to what I was starting to get myself into. You mentioned your anxiety, dopamine and serotonin levels, it might be worth looking into Dr. Andrew Huberman from Stanford University. He’s credible and all over social media. He specializes in neuroscience. He has great research on serotonin and dopamine. He teaches how to better regulate both in a healthy way that is backed by clinical human trials with research. His own and from fellow scientists.

My goodness your up line and training are soooooo horrible. I do use essential oils (and I guess sell them…or at least wouldn’t put anyone aside who wanted to buy them) but my experience has been WAY different than yours. Lots of training on the oils (and what NOT to do) and lots of free business training for those who want it. Very supportive and kind group. They don’t push me to sell or enroll at all but maybe that’s because my very close up line are those diamonds and presidential diamonds, etc so they’re making plenty of $$$$ whether I work or not. 😂 But that presentation you got…GULP! Oh my goodness…not even CLOSE to compliant and I’m guessing no approval to be using it. VERY scary!! Yeeesh!! I’m so sorry this happened to you!

The scary thing is, the presentation came from the founders of DōTERRA and this exact slideshow has been used in their zoom classes 🤯

That presentation is from a third party (probably an advocate trying to get ahead the wrong way), definitely not the founders. I sent it to my upline and it has been reported to corporate.

We’ve reported it too! It’s from the visionary leader collective which was created by the founders. Arin Fugate and “doctor” Josie are some of the main ones that promote it

Maybe I was mistaken. I thought the Founder’s Club was created by doTERRA but the Visionary Leaders were just high (very high) level advocates who created a group/website on their own. I know there are lots and lots of high level advocates who create their own groups, websites and even software companies for an added source of income (to their already pretty substantial incomes) that are not affiliated with doTERRA at all (in a legal sense). I’ve been on that website several times and I’m sure I heard about it from my upline but I was pretty sure it wasn’t like the Founder’s Club. In any case, that presentation is most definitely concerning.

Bad upline or poor upline....the end results are still close if you're starting from the bottom. Sure, a good upline helps a little, but not very much much statistically. If you don't believe me, look at Doterra's own income disclosure statement. 99% of the people who are advocates for income, make very little money. Only the top 1% make on average above $20K. Diamonds do well, but they only make up about .1%...or 1 out of 1000. No thanks. I won't join a job in which I have a 99% chance of making on average less than minimum wage.
