I modded the original assemble code from the ROM. As I own the machine, i can do that. This is why you can see me starting on different levels. Unfortunately, i can not give these out to others obviously. However, if you have a real machine, some have a button to push to advance to the next level. Also, MAME has something like that, but I'd rather not talk about emulators here.
I have the gen 1 arcade 1up pacman. It uses MAME 139u1 I believe. It has a 17 inch monitor (verses a 19 inch). The machine is 4 foot but you add a 1 foot riser and the control panel is at the same location as the original. It seems to run at 60 FPS. Arcade machines are to big and heavy to move. 1ups are light and smaller. I mean I dig it. The newer Pac-Mans don't use MAME. 1up switched to other emulators so i have not tested them. The joystick broke inside of 2 weeks. Seems to be a common thing. The 1 thing I noticed is that it's easier to do patterns on a larger 19 inch monitor. So I can do most of the patterns on the 1up, but it's easier on the coin op version. You can get these used on facebook for like $100. I got mine NIB for $180. You just have to wait for it. people list their 1ups too high and never sell them. I just got an asteroids for $80 used. I love them
@@hensan5150 No but on gaming. I have 1 written (awaiting for the first copy to come back from the printer. I have 2 more transcoded from speech to text laid out. So I have to rewrite them and do the charts. Also, I have enough for 1/2 of a 4th book too. I can get it to a 4 full books.
Long time no see, you still using your 2010 recording equipment?
I don't have anything that new. It was all made in the 80s. Beta-Max baby!
This version seems very responsive which is really important for making those quick turns for avoiding the ghosts and quickly navigating the mazes.
So here is how you use the perfect patterns. When I can get the rest, it's go time!
Where can I practice the different levels without having to play through them? Ty
