In Nissan talk, that spare tire is called a 10,000 mile tire as it will replace one wheel after 10,000 miles and forever remain in use.

I just got my 2023 Versa SR and love it. I got a 3-year loan at 2.99% financing. My car will be paid off when most people are either turning in their umpteenth lease or have another 3 to 4 years on their vehicle that probably isn't all that much better then mine to begin with.
As far as the CVT goes, I'll bet many of those problems came from owners not serving their CVT properly. They think going to Jiffy Lube is going to be all they need to do. The manufacturer gives you a service schedule for a reason. If people actiellt follow it, they'd probably have much fewer issues to begin with.

No question, true. I've been in construction for 30yrs, daily drive a Dodge, cummins, 6spd manual and have for 17 yrs. Time has come where I don't need a truck at random times anymore, and frankly I'm tired of all that size and excess when in-town.
I'm strongly considering a Versa, manual trans. Nowadays, most of the time I only need basic, reliable transportation back and forth to a desk job, with grocery store stops once a week. I could get 300k miles of use, and 35-40mpg the whole way from a simple vehicle. I like it.
