Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre Indigenous Ceremony

AHS was honoured to partner with local Indigenous Elders to host a public event at the William J. Cadzow Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre. The event featured the raising of a tipi, a pipe ceremony, traditional Indigenous food, dancers, and drummers.
The day was guided by Indigenous perspectives and values, and was enjoyed in a safe, inclusive space for meaningful dialogue, cultural exchange and relationship-building, where all members of our community can feel equally valued and respected.
