Gosh I love the quality of this video! The beach shots are amazing! Sorry for not talking about the actual set because I don’t have much interest, but it’s huge and looks very difficult to build, Technic just isn’t my thing! But I live the quality of this video though! 🤣
I love that you actually did what SO many other lego bloggers failed to do.... You actually played with it. You're one of the best reviewers. Keep it up.
I was sold on NOT getting this set... but I’m just getting back into lego and was not aware of “Alt builds” until a few days back. Once I discovered all the additional builds you can do with this set I ordered one immediately!
I think Powered Up (Control+, Spike, Boost, etc) will slowly become more and more apreciated among older lego fans as more community made control apps / firmwares are released. For example, with Pybricks you can program every powered up hub in micropython like the Spike hub does out-of-the-box. In a set like this you could program the two hubs to talk each other, add a buch of sensors to the empty ports and completely automate it. The Powered Up (Boost) color/distance sensor can also be used to send IR commands to Power Functions receivers (sadly, I don't think it has an IR receiver, only an IR led. So it doesn't work the other way around).
It has have FIVE gearboxes actually, 2 for twaurk, 1 for the turning thing and 2 for the actuators! So yes it does have gearboxes just not a drive transmission gearbox. I just got the set and it’s also pretty challenging to build.
Ik you say that it's pretty basic to have one motor controlling a function but I think it's because when you move the arm, the set keeps the bucket leveled until a certain point. The actuators have to make a small adjustment when you lower or raise and to do something like that with gears would probably be impossible. I still respect your opinion on the set though
I really wish that this set had double tracks, so then it doesn't look too thin on both ends, and I think Lego should have just brought Bluetooth to powered up and not have brought control plus, as revolutionary as it is.
It won't started slipping as soon as you sneeze lol btw you deserve subs as much as sariel's bricks and pets you both actually deserve 2 million subs, keep up the work I saw your shock absorbers video today!
Sorry, no. If you have the same length axle extender piece it’s easy to replace while building the set. It shouldn’t take too much time to modify after assembling the set too
9:22 I got a BuWizz 2.0 last year for my birthday and it’s the best lego power functions add on I have ever seen. I do not like the new smart hub at all it just doesn’t work as nice
Thank you very much. Please consider checking out my lego technic Volvo 6x6 articulated hauler review. I guarantee you it is at least 3 times as good as this one
@@Unbrickme they are cool to build but not exactly completely realistic in the sports cars and the gearing is so setup that it's not really evident that they are doing much. A small change in how fast fake pistons move.. the only good one is the cat a60h.. but mainly cause it's also motorized.
The 8043 motorizated excavetor in my opinion is the worst lego set ever is too hard to digging despit i did t have for me lego need to create more easyest instructions becose the best way to have more fun istade for the challenging sets like the 8043 you want get stuck at a long part of the set you become incredebley angry

This video took 2 weeks of hard work to make. Kinda surprised it still didn't reach 1k views

seeing these sets outside in the sand gives me anxiety

Wow! So cool to see this model doing its work! Also nice video 👌🏻

"How deep can we dig?" Sounds like someone on twitter trying to get some celebrity cancelled
Lol
Beautiful video and music starting from 17:33. Love iT!

This set doesnt have gearbox
Very Nice Lego Technic Liebherr r9800!Like!
Love the phone case
thanks
This is really nice channel. No long into, you speak clearly and you deserve a lot more subs.
woosh if gay Thank you so much man. I put a lot of effort into this video. 2 weeks to be exact

They don't, because of where the actuators are mounted when the arm moves it naturally stays parallel.
This channel is sooo creative.
I love it
LEGO FILMS 123 Thank you

Did you mean, being Bluetooth to power functions? Powered up and control+ is the same
@@Unbrickmecontrol+ is the app, powered up is the system

Thank you very much!!! I really appreciate it! Yeah the “clutch slips as soon as you sneeze” bit was was more just a joke for comedy
Considering that the Bucket Wheel sucks at properly working... barely moves, stutters...
That 9800R set aims to be innovative with the C+.
Bruno Beltrame Ok forget about the bucket wheel excavator. Remember the 8043 set?
these new LAs is for gbc.
for e.x a spike powered dual scissors it has 2 large motors and a new LAs to lift up and down motion.
Wonderful video!
the bucket wheel barely works, that motor is struggling with all the gears, at least this set can be played with instead of collecting dust...
Great content! opening sand digging scene super satisfying to watch 👍👍
Thank you
Something fun to do is to remove the bucket and add some kind of custom attachment such as a drill
How i got rich: i found oil using a lego set
Congts to 1000 subs! We celebrate all together! Is it going to be some special Lego set!Like!
im the 200th like .btw so many of your vids are in the 200 -300 like range
Hello, a bit late but do you have a video on showing how to replace the clutch gear with the 3 piece axle mod?
Sorry, no. If you have the same length axle extender piece it’s easy to replace while building the set. It shouldn’t take too much time to modify after assembling the set too

Very good review !
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice editing
I would rather have a fully motorized model rather than useless gearboxes and fake engines
Gearboxes aren’t useless

This set was kind of disappointing. Nice exterior design though. Very helpful review video.
Easy to build huh? Dude u showed just 2 page that were easy but some parts are just TOO HARD
i want to program using pybricks before used in gbc?
This set is literally having an identity crisis
Thx
lol now the excavator costs $1,000 on amazon
wow
looks nice not too functional though
Bruh it is pretty damn functional. Just not mechanical
this set is indoors used only not outdoors like this.
I like playing with lego sets outdoors
@@Unbrickme yes LEGO says: *indoor used only.*
Dinh Tuan it’s not designed for outdoors but I mean, it’s much more fun outdoors
