Your tutorials are getting better and better every day! You always cover topics about which there aren't that many videos and give unique tips. Really appreciate all the work you're doing!
the method of masking the cursor to not being able to see it and adjust the picture just by looking at it only works if you have a very good and calibrated monitor that you can trust. for regular folks, you will be better off by learning to read the histogram.
What a great tutorial, thank you for sharing it! I'm not sure if it's been commented, but I believe that when you say "Fusion", the english equivalent would be "Merge". Hope that helps!
Very nice. When you said you would call this done, I was looking at the Starbucks cup and was like, "No, not yet." Lol. Honestly, good video and very informative. 👍👍
Gimp supports 32-bit exr files, but I'm not sure if it supports multilayer exr, you might have to export passes into separate files. Krita should be able to do it from my quick Google search
2:48 So I don't know if this would work, but instead of having to go to the file manager, right click on the file, and then click open with, you could also drag the file and drop it onto the empty part of the tabs bar in Photoshop. I've had this issue a few times where a file (not limited to OpenEXR) imports as a single layer, and doing this has usually helped save time and effort
Out of curiosity, is there any way to automate the smart filter to apply it to all frames of an animation? I'm just barely starting out with Photoshop after previously only using blender, and I'm loving how much better my still renders look, but don't know how to get the same improvement on animations
Blender's compositor can do some things very well, but if you want to do a lot of editing and put effects on certain strangely shaped regions (like adjusting the exposure of one little part of the octopus' tentacle) it's much more efficient to do that in a dedicated 2d program
Yes it can be used for animations as well, but for that you either have to use Blender's compositor or Blackmagic Fusion. If you're serious about learning compositing I'd recommend Fusion.
Nice to hear you liked the tutorial Cassiano! I didn't set it to RGBA because the scene doesn't have any empty spots in the background, so the alpha channel would just be solid colour and therefore pretty useless. If for example I had rendered a single object with empty background, then RGBA would be useful.
This is where being a photographer helps a lot in 3D Don't hate me, but your blender videos are waaaaay better than your Photoshop videos... Might a suggestion 3 very good channels for photoshop PTC, PixImperfect and Benny productions. Though Benny production is a little advance. [Beginner PS artist should also watch this for cool inspirations)
Je suis pas français en fait, je suis estonien mais j'ai appris le français par moi-même en huitième année. Et tous mes ordinateurs sont en français depuis ce temps. Mais j'ai jamais visité la France, un jour je viendrai !
But in this way you working in wrong color space in photoshop... why you do yourself so much pain? Maybe in some selected cases this could work... but there is so much pain with colors in the process. IMO is very bad idea to post proces any render.
Excellent, would love to see more post-processing vids, they are super useful. That normal re-lighting technique was great!
Excellent advice at the end with ignoring the numbers on the sliders!
Awesome video, can't wait for more!
Bro!! The re-lighting thing is mad!
Using normal pass for re-lighting? Brilliant, thank you 👍👍👍
Love the advice about not looking at the sliders! That’s a great tip.

really nice tips in here, thanks!
4:50 Simply use blend-if to isolate it from the midtones and lower (double click on the right-side of the layer)
Excellent video!
Wow! Amazing!

I know how difficult it is to talk in one language and read another
Your photoshop is obviously not in English, but you make it effortless
thank you so much!

This is fantastic! Subcribed. Do you use DaVinci Resolve? Would love to learn your approach and methods for it.
Very nice. When you said you would call this done, I was looking at the Starbucks cup and was like, "No, not yet." Lol.
Honestly, good video and very informative. 👍👍
Wait why comp in photoshop? Blender can do it, or Natron if you want to use a composite open source software
Exactly what I needed at exactly the right time! Thanks!
(Can we use gimp or Krita for the exr thingy?)

The starbucks cup is looking a little janky but other than that this is a great tutorial! Thanks for the info!
Incroyable ! Je me suis toujours demandé si tu étais français et ouais effectivment. Ta chaine est super pour apprendre, merci !
En fait je suis pas français (je suis estonien) mais j'aime bien le français et un jour je veux visiter la France aussi.

you can do a "action" with adjustments that you like and after do a "batch" command in the folder with all the frames.
For some reason I expected to see more use of blenders internal compositor nodes, than photoshop

@@maxgrey3694 very debatable. I have used blender since 2.49b in 2008
I mean this in a sense of you'd be surprised of its capabilities
This method with render layers can be used for animations too? or is there a better method for animations? Thanks in advance!
Yes it can be used for animations as well, but for that you either have to use Blender's compositor or Blackmagic Fusion. If you're serious about learning compositing I'd recommend Fusion.
Hi, how should I bring my viewport render image to the compositor in blender?I want to add freestyle to the image rendered this way. Nice video btw.
You unfortunately cannot take your viewport render image there, you have to render it first and then add the render layers node in the compositor
@@BadNormals Ok, Thanks :)
@1:58 we can see that the color export is set to RGB. Why not set it to RGBA? Thank you for the great tutorial.

Don't worry I won't hate you 😀In what area do you find my Blender-centric videos better?
@Bad Normals the geometry nodes tutorials and the Eevee render tutorial was really great. 👍🏽
Why do you have your Photoshop in french ?
I just like this language. Learned this in eight grade and it's still ma langue préférée 🇫🇷🥖
