For me personally I gave it to inertia too. People here are saying helium had no timing issues, which is true since he hardly ever does, but the structuring of his round to me still just wasn't exactly for me and it put me off. Yes inertia's round was a little too long but it still had the overall edge for me, especially because I really liked seeing the new closed mouth tech that he did with the inward bass. For me the inward bass usage isn't a problem since a MAJORITY of beatboxers, when they master a sound, they tend to use it a lot. Inertia has the melodic structuring department beat, while helium definitely has the tech department. 2 completely different styles, which is why it's so taste and preference heavy. for me heliums counter at the end was a decent jab but not a hard enough uppercut.
I think it's fair to say you preferred KI but if you go through the categories objectively and keep in mind that KI started with -2 points for being late it just makes no sense that he took the win and I feel very bad for Helium.
i see hardly anyone complaining that KI won, everyone is complaining how he won ..
@Cliff Beats 7:10 there is no chance for any rebuttal, both people put their rounds in at a specific due date and that's in. The first time they hear each others round is when its posted on Sxin or Chezam's channels.

Helium decided not to edit his beatboxing like the others in the comp, which I liked but it puts you at a disadvantage.

Helium did say that he was going for the raw natural beatbox video so well noticed and yeah im the same as u i prefer raw beatboxing with as little tampering as needed. Big respect to you as always and so cool how you are spreadimg mental health awareness as well as offering support from someone who knows what its like that is always the best person to get advice from. Beatboxing has helped my mental health massively and i want to give back what i can. Intertia's one was a bit long for my taste. Also, coming right off of GBB content it felt very repetitive. Helium had some weird structuring too, and I didn't think his final drop was that hard. Overall I would give it to Helium, I think I will be listening to his round again in the future. Can't say the same for Inertia.

Unfortunately helium lost, which was due to sxin and chezames extreme bias, as almost everyone in the beatbox community agrees that helium should have won.
Inertia was so repetitive while helium was fresh and new. Inertia somehow got the video point while standing in his bedroom.

I kinda feel you man. Ive watched the battle like 10x at first i thought inertia won but i realize helium is indeed more versatile and has a better video. Inertia got a point for his chessboard and his bass but overall helium won it for me also.

ahahahah you are funny bro, all round of helium doesnt make sense like dont have a padron. he is just doing techinique. To be honest he trully disapoint me cause after GBB i was ready to something better and i though he had learn something but his problem with music flow makes his beatbox not so good! Inertia just need to do a good music with a insane drop to win and that was what he did. And he is not repetitive, he could just have made a round with 2 min with the crazy drop and the final flow that was also insane. Helium is also repetitive with the constate technique
@@filipeparedes243 helium doesn’t have good flow? do you even know what flow is? just because helium is complex doesn’t mean it isn’t good flow, sorry to burst your bubble. also inertia is extremely repetitive, he literally included 3 of the same bass lines he used in gbb, you cannot sit there and chat to me that inertia isn’t repetitive, i found my self skipping through parts of his round it was that boring. you say helium is just doing technique? he literally destroyed inertia with his own vocal technique, meanwhile inertia did no technique (that part where he spammed drums is not technique) . You are the antithesis of yourself
In my personal opinion, this battle didn't live up to its expectations. Don't get me wrong, both were good, but none of them had that "wow" factor that would bring me back, unlike Den's or Dropical's rounds. I still gave it to Helium because Inertia's round seemed very repetitive and there was no contrast. Helium had a unique/strange rhythm structure and showed some new sounds. This round has drawn up a lot of controversy, because Inertia was decided as the winner, but many felt that it was "rigged" because Inertia would draw more views. Also, Sxin and Chezame have fanboyed over Inertia in the past. Others are saying that you shouldn't judge your own competition, even more so considering that multiple of your friends are in said competition. Overall, there are some issues that need to be addressed, but I feel that if BBU happens again next year, Sxin and Chezame would make the necessary fixes.
