- After his sudden appearance on the internet, guitar virtuoso ichika is gaining attention not only from inside Japan, but also from around the world, with his honed sensitivity and crystalline guitar sound. Effortlessly flying across the fretboard with his miraculous technique, ichika stirs up the emotions and imagination of the listener with his vibrant instrumental compositions.
About 1 year since the release of his 1st EP “forn”, the long-awaited 2nd EP will be released.
This time, ichika's world view is expressed not only with guitar, but also with the addition of bass.

@@benturtl9076 Dingwall are fascinating basses. So clean. Funny how people buy them to absolutely obliterate them with distortion, but they clean up so well that they keep their low end while getting obliterated. (Or in Ichika's case, they're good for tappin')
@@auxorion charles berthoud has a custom made lefay, one normal and one with piccolo/guitar strings, and his tapping sounds incredibly clean on those basses, though he taps anything with strings anyway lol. But same goes for ichikas dingwall, it kinda sounds like it even has guitar pickups and guitar amp settings

I never thought I would hear a bass played with a harp-like texture to the tone. This was absolutely beautiful.

How does he play the bass like that without getting his fingers hurt? That requires a LOT of practice and talent. I've never heard so beautiful melody on bass. I'm super glad that I found out about this channel. His composition definitely makes you a greater listener.

On one hand it's callous and also it's the tone he's using, when amplified or recorded directly into a recording software it's much easier to project than to play it raw on the instrument with nothing

@@yummygummy2133 dude has fractal helix and endorsed by darkglass in his old days, ichika dude never used any software other than his builtin antelope interface to play guitar, dont get me wrong tho, but the gear ichika used is far more more expensive than a average ppl can afford tbh.

After many listens of his songs, I have decided that this is my favourite( at the moment). This is modern classical music on a bass guitar. Not many have enough talent to convey such deep feelings from a solo bass guitar and he is only getting started
