I just wanna say that you are doing great work for the non coders. I saw some of the comments which are saying that "but this is not up to the mark or you can't use it properly, etc." But still it is teaching us a lot that how actually things gets built.
This is crazy, I’ve been beating my head against the wall while messing around in Replit with this exact same idea and that would just create a MVP if I could get past the debugging, this is awesome, just subscribed!
I simply love the energy you pump into these videos, go for it man, ❤ just enjoy watching and infact great use cases, Yeah implementing the database and user sessions, will be great and crucial.
@@AlexFinnOfficial I've been working on an app for a private investigator friend that helps with analysis of GPS data points and I think you helped me crack that code on one a the step!
App development has changed so much, it's mind blowing! What made you switch from replit to cursor? or is it a task dependent choice? A comparison video would be a good idea imo.
The debugging piece is a piece I haven't done. I generally just go back to the drawing board. cool to see how you are doing it! It's also amazing to watch the code being built out in there!
One thing I've noticed Alex that's really cool about your youtube channel is it really humanizes you and makes you more relatable. Coming from X where you're an uber celebrity from the web3 days to here where I can just see you talking and working on something just like I might (like saying you always try to be nice to the ai, loved that part lol) feels comparably more personal and makes you feel more approachable--hopefully this makes sense, you're super approachable on X too! It just feels different experiencing you via video vs writing. It also feels MAD early when comparing your X following to here where you're only getting started anyway, I hope you're having a good night and thanks for teaching me things on multiple platforms! 🫶
I am in 53 seconds in and I am already thinking I have to subscribe to you. :) I've got to share this-it’s too funny! This is my first time on your channel, and I forgot that I had set the RUclips playback speed to 1.5x for the last video I watched. When I started watching this one, you were talking super fast! I thought maybe you had recorded it at 1.5x speed as a style choice because developers are always jacked on coffee and hate anything slow. It wasn’t until I went to slow it down that I realized my playback speed was still set to 1.5x!
another random idea to add onto the app would be to have AI help breakdown the tasks into subtasks. I could totally see the future having agents work on each of the different categories based on what the agents are trained to do.
I would love to see a web clipper that can clip articles to Apple Notes. Right now the share function only gives you a like a link preview etc. This is one of the best features of Evernote, and would love to see something similar for Apple Notes, or almost get you there.

Hey, I'm a writer. I use a program called Scrivener. It's a much more complex program than the stuff I've seen you do. It's like a word processor with the organization of Evernote. I would love it if you'd tackle it. Though I think it might be beyond Cursor's powers. Also, I love that your process is evolving. You're killing it!
Dude!! Love your videos. I’m also from NYC. You should definitely do a live stream video with like minded people and build a kickass app and actually deploy it. My suggestion for building a new app is - My fitness pal Make building apps great again! 🎉😂
Creating to do list app/calculators/flappy bird and so on is pretty easy with or without ai, but what about more complex projects? Is cursor ai helpful with that?
100%. I’m building some complex projects out right now. My videos are more beginner focused at the moment, but moving forward I’ll mix in more complex ones too!
Yes you can but generally i'd advice you do research on tech stacks and how you application is supposed to be structured understand it and then proceed, because the larger it is the more confusing it gets. AI is only as good as what you can explain to it, when things start breaking there are cases where you might have to manually go in.
Hey Alex, I wanted to test this for myself, but when I run the code in cursor to start it off I am having issues. I am running on a windows device. is there a video or suggestion you have what to do to start off in cursor? do you have a video on cursor?
Bro, why don't you do a live stream and build a full stack complete app using Ai ? and it would be even better if you deploy the app to the internet !!
@@Opeyemi.sanusi I am willing to bet he tries a bunch of LLM 's. In the future workplace switching llm's at a moments notice will be common and then begin to focus on curated llm's for agents.

I appreciate that you put the links to the tools in there! I haven't used v0 or Cursor yet, but this is the kind of work I would love to do with AI!

what about an app to score AI songs?
Can this be developed as an iOS app? Cool to see you do a tutorial on that as well as phone functionality as a productivity tool for the new age
